Klondyke Kate from Stoke-on-Trent, was without doubt, the toughest female ever to step into a wrestling ring. She was trained by the late Bobby Barron in Blackpool and after a career lasting over 30 years, she will have her final match at the Blackpool Tower in July this year (2008). Over the years she has wrestled all over the world and is one of the few British girls to wrestle on the very tough Japanese circuit. Despite her ring persona, Kate is great company to be with and full of fun. 

Now living in Weymouth, Kate and her partner Justin Starr run a very successful wrestling promotion and wrestling school called 'High Impact Wrestling' - so despite her in-ring retirement, Kate will still be very much involved with the wrestling business in the future.
