Britannia Wrestling Academy opened its doors to welcome the future generations of Professional Wrestlers in July 2012, providing the opportunity for children & adults to be trained by professionals in a professional environment.

Boasting a 14ft wrestling ring, floor training areas, training equipment and media production areas - Britannia Wrestling Academy provides the total package in your first steps in becoming a Professional Wrestler. No matter your age , size, gender or physical limitations - everybody has potential to be a Wrestler - our Training Team will work with you to build on your strengths and to improve your weaknesses from in ring training, mat training, media training and character development, team building and geberal self-confidence.

Meet The Training Team

Alex Pownall

Alex is our one of our consistent weekly Trainers, he is there each week regardless of which Guest Trainer may be present. Alex has been wrestling & training for over 5 years across North Wales as well as being a gym instructor in addition to the wrestling business.

 

Babyface Pitbull

Trained by Leicester Shoot Wrestling, Runcorn Wrestling Academy and of course Team Taz Dojo New York, The Babyface Pitbull is one of the most decorated Superstars in British Wrestling history! Current (2x) PWI:BWP World Catchweight Champion, current BWP Tag Team Champion, current PW4U Champion and current RWA Heavyweight Champion! Pitbulls professional CV is second to none!

Dylan Roberts

Ex-British Army soldier Dylan Roberts lives and breaths the wrestling business. Originally trained by GPW, Roberts has gone on to work for many of the top British Wrestling promotions due to his immense work ethic and attitude both in and out of the ring. Roberts brings intensity and passion to the Britannia Wrestling Academy training team.

Marc Morgan

Marc is a former BWP Rookie Division Champion and the 2012 Rookie of the Year. Morgan has been wowing fans and crowds across the whole spectrum of the UK in recent years and is of course a main stay here at Britannia Wrestling Promotions.

 

Max Davies

Max Davies is a busy guy here in BWP! He is the Head Referee and BWP Encore! Radio presenter as well as the Head Junior Trainer at the school. Max teaches a full syllabus to all Junior Trainees in preperation for their advancing to the Senior Ranks.

Steve Saxon

Owner of Britannia Wrestling, BBC Sporting Hall of Fame inductee, 2011 Pro-Wrestling International Promoter of the Year - trained and mentored by the late, great Orig 'El Bandito' Williams from 1998.
