This show is set to be even more action packed than the last show, with newly crowned BWP World Champion Lord Graham Thomas taking on Abergele’s own Jim ‘The Metal ’ King in a Championship Lumberjack match!

The BWP Rookie Division will have their ultimate opportunity to shine and prove their worth in the BWP as they all take part in the Rookie Rumble.

Another qualifying entrant for the BWP Sure Shot Challenge final match will be decided as El Destello , Sean Phoenix, Celtic Thunder & DJ King face off in a 4 Man Knock-Out Tournament.

Hells Bells (HB) says

Hi Corey.

Corey E (CE) says: Hiya Helen.

HB says: As you are new to the BWP, I’m sure the fans would like to know a bit about you. So how did you get into wrestling?

CE says: Well, I was a youngster full of drive and ambition and with a thirst to prove myself. I wanted to find something to prove myself and when I heard that there was an opportunity so close to where I was, I grasped it with both hands and since then I haven’t looked back.

HB says: That is great Corey and what did you think about your first match with the BWP?

CE says: When I found out who I was against I felt I needed a lot of preparation as Marcus King has already established himself as a main force in the BWP. In the match, we took each other to the limits and in the end I was victorious. I think I proved to everybody else backstage that I’m not to be taken lightly.

HB says: Certainly, it was a fine match and I think Marcus was more than a little shocked by your abilities.

Of course your next match at the Waterloo Rugby Club in Crosby on 20^th March is against the infamous Lord Graham Thomas . How are you feeling about meeting him in the ring?

CE says: It won’t be the first time I’ve met him in the ring as you may know at the last show in Denbigh we were in the rumble match together. However that was obviously not enough experience to know what he’s like in the ring. I have taken a look at some of LGT’s previous matches and I have to say that this will be an extremely tough challenge which will need to be taken seriously. I’ve noticed that he likes to use powerful moves, which I will need to avoid at all costs. It will certainly be one of my toughest matches to date.

HB says: It will be a hard match as LGT is a tricky opponent but I’m sure you are up to it.

Thinking of the other wrestlers on the BWP rosters, is there anyone in particular you would like to fight?

CE says: Well I got a chance to see the wrestlers of the BWP for the first time at the last show and I have to say I would like to fight The Metal as we have similar styles and I think it would be a brilliant and entertaining match for the fans to watch. I would also like to face the Babyface Pitbull purely to get revenge on him for eliminating me from the Rural Rumble at the last show.

HB says: The Metal is an excellent wrestler and I can understand why you would want revenge on the Babyface Pitbull, he appears to be an imposing character and that would be a good match.

Well I know you have a very busy schedule at the moment so won’t take up any more of your time but we usually end the interviews by doing some word association, if you are up for it?

CE says: Yeah , of course.

HB says: Okay, I will say a word or phrase and you give me the first word that you associate with it. So here we go.

The event, which will be tag team orientated, will feature such tag teams as The New TranSiberien Express, The Word Association, The Justice Circle, Storm, Shockwave and many more!

The main event of the evening will be an innovative and bar raising match that is being dubbed the Lethal Lottery.  The idea of this competition is that the attendance audience will decide which of the 12 tag team members will team with each other.  This means that enemies and opponents could be forced to team with each other in a massive 12 man eliminaion tag match – where two teams of 6 Superstars each will battle in an elimination style match, until one team is completely eliminated to decide the final winner(s).

In addition to the tag team theme of the event, there will be one singles match-up – between the newly crowned British wrestling BWP World Catchweight Champion El Destello as he goes one on one against the MMA Fighting Machine, ‘The Knockout’ Brad Matthews .  Why has Brad Matthews been chosen to face the Lethal Luchador in his first ever title defense?  BWP General Manager, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne , has hand selected Brad Matthews for ‘his’ champions’ first match.  This will be Matthews’ first match back with the BWP since his serious shoulder injusy several months ago, some have said that Rudy Wynne has selected Brad Matthews for this reason alone, to give his champion the upper hand – but will Brads sabbatical from the ring be enough to give the Mexican Masked Monster the advantage?

Many have noticed that since McGrou was last seen in Llanwrtyd Wells in March 2009 – Destello’s win/loss record has dropped drastically – will that suddenly change again now?

The Superstars of Britannia Wrestling Promotions will be hosting their next event in Wrexham, North Wales in July 2009, and is aptly named the BWP Championship Showdown as the new BWP World Catchweight Champion will be crowned as Seb Winterz and The G-Man and two other Superstars will go at it in an elimination match to be announced for the chance to wear the highly anticipated BWP gold.

As well as the Championship Showdown competition, Wrexham will also be treated to a BWP-Beauties Brawl … combined with over 2 hours of none-stop action – this is set to be yet another successful Britannia event!

This shocking news set the BWP Nation into a frenzy as everybody wants to know the answer to one question; who will be the new General Manager of the BWP?

BWP Founder Steve Saxon has declared that Blue Ice will face ‘The Knock-Out’ Brad Matthews at the rapidly approaching BWP Unholy Union evening to be held at Rhuddlan on the 30th May …   although his match against Matthews will not be a Championship Chase qualifying match, both Ice & Matthews will be entered into the 2nd Champion Chase KO Rumble at the end of the evening, meaning that The Ice Man could still grab himself that Championship shot that he is so clearly hungry for!

As you will be aware, Tommy Gunn was the winner of last months BWP Eliminator Tournament, casting him as te first of qualifying contenders for the BWP Catchweight Championship title … BWP Founder Steve Saxon was asked what would happen with Gunn’s now relinquished position, and he responded ‘Tommy leaving the BWP, along with Jay Icon, is an unfortunatete loss for the BWP Nation, however as always Britannia Wrestling Promotions will continue to move forward with or without them and the BWP Championship Chase just got a little bit more interesting because it gives one extra wrestler the chance to be crowned Champ due to Tommy’s release’.
