BWP Superstar Interview: Seb Winterz

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

SEBWINTERZ

Hells Bells (HB) says: I’m talking with Sebastian D Winterz who was brutally attacked by El Destello at the recent Tag Team Turmoil in Abergele.

Hello Seb.

Seb Winterz (SW) says: Hey Helen.

HB says: I’m fine thanks but unfortunately the same cannot be said for you. I’m sure all your fans will want to know, how is your shoulder?

SW says: Where to start? I have a broken scapula and humerus.

The bruising still hasn’t gone down and the doctors think the damage done may have finished my wrestling career.

HB says: That is awful news Seb. When do you think you will know for sure?

SW says: Not for a while, before physio can begin, I have to heal, it’s only then that I will know the extent of the damage and whether or not the motor functions in my shoulder and arm will return to normal.

HB says: That must be affecting your life. How are you managing with your day to day life?

SW says: Well with only one arm it’s pretty much halved the amount of things I can do. I can do the essentials but the nursing staff here are very helpful with everything else I need doing

HB says: You mention nursing staff – are you still in hospital?

SW says: I have been put into a private hospital at the expense of The Sax Man , so I am being very well looked after in order to prompt a speedy recovery.

HB says: That’s very good of him and of course you deserve the best after the way you were treated during that match.

How do you now feel towards El Destello?

SW says: El Destello did what he did because he is a coward. To be honest I should have expected something like this, I mean it wouldn’t be the first time he’s done this to me. A bigger man would have looked me in the eye first.

HB says: Well unfortunately we all know what sort of person El Destello is and I doubt he will change, his cowardice runs too deep but you are the opposite, very forthright and honest and I’m sure everyone would like to know, health permitting do you intend to have this out with him in the future?

SW says: I will be back in the ring as soon as I get the all clear. I am coming for El Destello and the title!

HB says: It would be good to have the title back in the hands of a true champion and I hope that you recover sufficiently to follow that through.

In Abergele you were helped by Jim King, have you seen him since that night.

SW says: Of course, both Jim and the G-Man have been to see me numerous times since Abergele. Both came with gifts, Jim with some books and magazines, and G-Man brought me a very risque looking fruit basket.

HB says: Haha – that sounds like G-Man. I’m glad you have had such support and they really are nice guys.

Do you have any advice for Jim as he heads for the 4 way contender match at Denbigh?

SW says: Of course I have advice for him, nothing is better when celebrating a victory like a mango smoothie and a McDonalds. In regards to the actual match then no I have no advice to shell out.

Jim is a member of the Justice Circle, the most elite wrestling faction in the history of the business. He has the skill and speed to pull off a convincing victory which will bring him within touching distance of the BWP’s greatest treasure.

I know Jim. He will have certainly formulated a game plan.

HB says: I sincerely hope he has as he will need it against three such big fellow wrestlers as Pitbull, Iron Duke and Andy Baker but if anyone is up for the challenge then ‘The Metal ’ certainly is.

Do you think you will be able to come and watch any of the shows in your current condition?

SW says: I have been advised not to, even as a member of the crowd I would still be a potential target in a vulnerable state it would only cause a burden upon my good friends. It’s in everyone’s best interests if I spend the time to recuperate.

All except El Destellos of course and the rest of Rudy Wynne ’s pathetic rag tag crew of morons.

HB says: A very valid point Seb and Rudy and his minions will of course celebrate this turn of events but as you say, you need to spend the time to recover so that you can return to the BWP.

Well I hope that the doctors have good news for you in the near future and make sure you keep up with the physio.

I’m sure all of the fans wish you well. Is there anything you would like to say to them before we finish.

SW says: To my fans, I will return before you know it and I will quickly take my frozen throne atop the BWP roster.

HB says: That is excellent Seb and I’m sure the fans will be pleased to here it. Any message for your JC friends?

SW says: Jim, Game plan, take your time. Think of nothing but your own match. I am fine and I am already in the best of care.

Speaking of which its sponge bath time, 4th one today. God bless you Sax Man

HB says: Haha – well you have to enjoy yourself as much as you can with your injuries and I bet the nurses don’t mind really. Thanks for speaking with me today and I hope your recovery goes smoothly. I’ll leave you now as I’m sure that those nurses are definitely keen to get to you.

SW says: Haha. Thanks.

Cya Helen

NEW Superstar Interview – Rudy Wynne

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

rudywynne
Hells Bells (HB) says
: Well I’m rather unexpectedly here with Rudy Wynne , the BWP General Manager as he has demanded his right to reply to Jim ‘The Metal ’ King’s recent interview
Hello Rudy.

Rudy Wynne (RW) says: Good evening

HB says:  So to start I need to ask why you have felt the need to respond to Jim’s comments and what in particular has got you so riled?

RW says: Well, it’s the impetuousness of youth that got me annoyed. Being the General Manager it is my responsibility to put on the best show with the most competitive matches I possibly can. My phone rings off the hook most days from men & women with more talent than Jim wanting an opportunity to prove themselves. Jim had that opportunity, and what has he done? Formed “The Justice Circle” with Sebastian Winterz & G-Man! Hell bent on compromising my position as General Manager. So yes, when people threaten my job, my livelihood & my ability to feed my family, I get riled.

HB says: So as you feel that Jim is trying to undermine you, are you intending to do anything about it?

RW says: I already have. I’ve removed him from the one show he wanted to be on, his hometown show in Abergele. Men like Jim foolishly aren’t motivated by money, so I can’t hurt his pocket but by not fulfilling his dreams, I’m reminding him who’s the boss & who’s the pesky little runt.

HB says: Rather a cruel decision as he is, as you pointed out young but of course you are the Manager so that is your decision to make.
You must have read that he intends to attend the show. Do you have anything planned in case he does turn up?

RW says: Of course, extra security will be on hand. It is my responsibility to make sure the fans from Abergele are treated to a great show, and not spoiled by disgruntled employees.
Plus if the worst comes to the worst, I’ve got the Word Association. They’ve dealt with Jim before, they’ll deal with him again.

HB says: I presume you are referring to Jim’s brother, Marcus King as well as Lord Graham Thomas and El Destello .

RW says: Yes. Marcus is a shining example of what I wanted Jim to mature into. Marcus knows what side his bread is buttered, and he is being rewarded a lot better financially. Jim said he lives in Abergele and Marcus lives in London. There’s a reason why : he’s paid a lot better than Jim, and he can afford to.

HB says: That is interesting as I doubt that the fans realised that you paid Marcus more than Jim. Is Jim aware of that?

RW says: He is now.

HB says: Well I think he will have something to say about that.
So how do you feel about the comments made about you pushing Marcus over the edge into darkness?

RW says: Darkness? How? I’m a fair man, and everybody acts on their own free will. I put on a match that I imagine the fans wanted to watch, not my fault that Jim lost that match & the respect of his brother. Marcus is competitive, not dark. Would you call David Beckham dark? Or Roger Federer? Or any other professional athlete? No. Marcus is a professional athlete, and he wants to be the best in the world. It’s not dark.

HB says: You make is sound so plausible but I somehow doubt that you would see Beckham or Federer behaving in the manner we have recently seen from Marcus, especially against G-Man where he has been instrumental in altering the outcomes of a number of matches in the favour of G-Man’s opponents.
Are you saying you condone this type of behaviour?

RW says: I give people a free reign over what they do, and G-Man is free to interfere if he wants. If he’s too stupid to keep Marcus in check, it’s not my problem.

HB says: I’m sure all the wrestlers will take your words into account.
Now one other thing Jim mentioned in his interview is that he would like to see himself as the BWP champion in 12 months time. Will you ever give him that opportunity?

RW says: As I said, everybody gets an opportunity. I’m sure I’ll find him a spot in a match within the next 12 months. Whether he grasps it & challenges El Destello for the title, who knows? I highly doubt it, though.

HB says: Is there anything else you would like to say at this point to Jim or anyone else from the Justice Circle?

RW says: Well I’ve fought many battles in my life. They’ve not been in the ring, but I’ve won most, if not all of them. You don’t become General Manager to lose, or by being a loser.
Learn to deal with me because you will be dealing with me for a lot longer.
G-Man, Seb & Jim, I’m begging you, stop your petty minded rebellion because you just won’t win. Instead, concentrate on your opponents and Jim concentrate on what you’ll be watching on TV on the 23rd. For the rest of the BWP Nation, you will be treated to a wrestling master-class from the Word Association on the 23rd January in Abergele.
I personally guarantee it.

HB says: Well that is a comprehensive interview Rudy and will I am sure give the wrestlers, especially the ‘Rookie of the Year’, Jim King food for thought.
Now although this is an impromptu interview would you like to finish in the usual way of the one word association answers.

RW says: No. I am a busy man & both you & Jim have taken up enough of my time.

HB says: Well if that’s the way you want it Mr Wynne then fine and I’m sure this will not be the last interview you demand somehow.

RW says: I’m sure of that.
I’m a busy man, but often my name gets sullied through the mud like what’s happened with Jim. I feel as General Manager I should use official channels to put people to right.

HB says: That is your prerogative of course and with that I will close this interview. Thank you for your time

RW says: No problem.

El Destello v Brad Matthews – Tag Team Turmoil

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

Destello v Brad

Saturday 23rd January 2010 will be the first time that newly crowned BWP World Catchweight Champion El Destello will defend his crown against ‘The Knock-Out’ Brad Matthews … hand selected by BWP General Manager, and manager of The Word Association, Rudy Wynne !

El Destello was crowned champion after cashing in his ‘Saxons Sure Shot’ contract on the same night that he won it by beating The G-Man … attacking former champ, Seb Winterz, moments after Winterz beat his opponent Lord Graham Thomas not once, but twice in one night!

El Destello will now go head to head, face to face with Brad Matthews, the award winning MMA fighter from Rhyl, North Wales … who is expected to bring along a lot of local support to his local North Wales town of Abergele.

Brad has been out of action from BWP competition for some time due to a serious shoulder injury sustained in a MMA match – something that Rudy Wynne took exception to, at the time being quoted stating that ‘Matthews has jeopordised his wrestling career by competing in those ridiculous fights … he got what he deserved!’ … is this Rudy’s form of punishment for Brad Matthews return match?

El Destello, a notorious nasty and violent piece of work in the squared-circle … Brad Matthews, a rookie in the wrestling business, but a master of Mixed Martial Arts … who will walk out of Tag Team Turmoil as BWP World Catchweight Champion?

Will Destello put Matthews back on the injured list? Or will ‘The Knock-Out’ end the ‘Lethal Luchadores’ championship reign prematurely?

The show ended with a steel chain match between the masked Mexican El Destello against Simon ‘G-Man’ Gaytley, with the G-Man picking up the victory in the BWP Championship Chase tournament.

The last man standing on the night was the Russian Seb Winterz, who outlasted all other BWP Superstars in the WrestleFest rumble.

BWP plans to return to Rhuddlan within the next couple of months due to the huge success and high demand from the locals, as well as the grand opening of the BWP Training Ground on Friday, June 19.

BWP Unholy Union Results 30.05.09

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

rhuddlan-unholyunionBritannia Wrestling Promotions Unholy Union live from Rhuddlan, North Wales commenced in front of a packed-out crowd with the opening of the BWP Championship Chase KO Tournament, pitting 4 competitors in audience-decided qualifier rounds – the winners of both rounds would face off in a steel chain match later in the evenings main event.

The crowd selected Angelos to face off against Destello in the opening match of the night … Seb Winterz would later meat the G-Man, Simon Gaytley … Angelos & Destello beat chunks out of each other in a fast paced and spectacular match.  Destello’s experience allowed him to take control of the match and take down the young, hot headed rookie by utilising the use of his Singapore cane after deliberately taking out the referee … the dazed referee counted a slow count for Destello earning him a place in the steel chain match and final of the Championship Chase KO Tournament later in the show.

Next up saw in the return of Lord Graham Thomas aftermajor back surgery 3 months ago – LGT decided to bring along some support with him in the form of the mighty Corporal D .  His opponent … The Metal !  The other half of SuperNaturals was fired up to take down the Lord, although the odds were against him, the crowd certainly was not as they roared in support of the 18 year old kid.

LGT seemed somewhat reluctant to enter the ring as the audience rallied behind Metal … pacing on the outside of the ring with his bodyguard.  Eventually LGT returned to the ring, and took control of the young Metal from the start, the Lords typical tricks and taunts slowly begin to show in the kid, with the assistance of Cpl D, Lord Graham Thomas was able to sustain power and control throughout the majority of the match … until Metal managed to salvage enough energy, guts and skill to pull off a monster suicide dive taking out both LGT and Cpl D!

Metal managed to get on top of the Lord until his support became physically involved again … this was still not enough to keep the kid down, as he battled back against both men and finally took out the Lord by pinfall!  Lord Graham Thomas was absolutely furious, his return match in over 3 months was skittled by the young fan favourite, The Metal!

Next up was the second qualifier for the BWP Championship Chase, pitting The G-Man, Simon Gaytley against the exlosive Seb Winterz.  From the off-set the BWP Nation were clearly showing their support for the G-Man, this peculiar and eccentric grappler put up a strong fight against Winterz, managing to put the big man down long enough to stick his butt in Seb’s face, incidentally changing the usually stone cold expression of Winterz into that of a disgust, nausea and desperation!

Winterz soon found his feet again, as he hit move after move on the pink loving Gaytley, who refused to stay down, so came more hard hitting Winterz specials … still the G-Man refused to be ended, until Winterz hit his patented ‘Onepiece’ finisher move … although Seb was not yet finished, as he began to climb the ropes for the brutal top-rope elbow smash, the move that collapsed the ring at the BWP Eliminator event in Stoke on Trent back in April this year … but then, from nowhere, Destello returned to the ring and began to attack the dazed and battered Gaytley, attacking the downed Superstar with shot after shot of the lethal cane … Winterz took exception to Destello’s interference as the referee declared the winner of the match, by disqualification, to G-Man!  Winterz demanded answers from Destello as he pulled him back from the heavily wounded Gaytley, but the Lethal Luchador was not in the talking mood as he repeatedly commenced in assaulting the G-Man across the ribs … referee Tom Richards was eventually able to get Destello out of the ring, as G-Man was assisted back stage for urgent medical assistance.
After the short break, we return to the show as the crowd are excited and buzzing for more Britannia Wrestling!  The fourth match of the evening see’s the return of another BWP Superstar, after a lengthy 3 years away from the squared-circle, Blue Ice made his return to face off against local hometown hero, the MMA Kid, ‘The Knock-Out’ Brad Matthews .  Blue Ice taunted the audience members with a verbal assault before locking up, the audience rallying behind Matthews was too much for Blue, and he gave up the microphone and locked up for the first time in 3 years.

Matthews took control of Blue Ice from the offset, taking the trainee of Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts down on his back several times, until Ice was able to take down the local boy with a vicious flying fist to the face.  Ice was onto Brad immediately, hitting him with a tirade of spiteful moves, trying to not only beat Matthews, but to humiliate him in front of his own people.  But Matthews’ will was strong, as he out smarted Blue Ice and managed to hit his ‘Knock-Out’ finisher from nowhere and hitting the spring legdrop, but the experience of Blue Ice again surfaced as he was able to narrowly get his foot on the bottom rope to break what seemed to be the victory for Brad Matthews.  Blue Ice managed to scrape to his feet and position Matthews for his ‘Ice Breaker’ finish, along with a grip of Matthews shorts, Blue Ice picked up with victory – leaving the town of Rhuddlan enraged!

The main event of the evening … a steel chain match … the final of the BWP Championship Chase KO Tournament to crown the first entrant into the Championship Showdown where the new BWP World Catchweight Champion will be crowned.  The winners of the earlier qualifier rounds will face off in this extremely dangerous and brutal match.  Destello confidentally enters the ring and watches and mocks as Simon Gaytley struggles to the ring, with a look of revenge and anger in his eyes … G-Man, clearly expressing severe pain and injury in his left rib area, as they had been heavily taped by the EMT’s after the vicious and malicious attack at the hands of Destello earlier in the evening.

Both men are strapped together to an 8ft long, solid steel chain … as the bell rings, both men immediately enter into a tug of war battle, with G-Man reeling Destello in until Destello opened the match wide open with a stiff kick to the G-Mans jewels.  Destello took no hesitation in using the steel chain to beat down the battered Gaytley – wrapping the chain around his fists trying to knock out his opponant as well as trying to finish off the job of breaking the remainder of his ribs!  Both Superstars fought back and forth, in and out of the ring, with the fans strongly behind G-Man, he picked up the momentum and gave Destello and unexpected and much deserved receipt for pain and punishment that he had received throughout the night!

G-Man looked to have the match almost done, until Destello managed to get hold of his Singapore cane once again, and was about to swing it into the G-Mans skull as out of the back stormed Seb Winterz, leaping up to the ring and managing to grab the cane from the hands of the Lethal Luchador just in time.  Destello momentarily distracted by Sebs interference allowed the now semi-unconscious G-Man to roll him up into a STF, wrapping the chain around Destello’s throat three times and pulling back hard – choking the Mexican into tapping out … the winner of this match – and the first entrant into the BWP Championship Showdown … by Submission … The G-Man, Simon Gaytley!

Now, time for the final event of the night – the 2nd Chance WrestleFest – an opportunity for the entire BWP roster in attendance to participate in an elimination style match – 2 men start off, every 90 seconds a new wrestler enters the ring, elimination is by pinfall or submission only, falls count anywhere … last man standing is declared the 2nd entrant into the BWP Championship Showdown along with the already qualified G-Man!

First 2 men starting the WrestleFest is  Lord Graham Thomas and Brad Matthews, both men losing their earlier matches and both men desperately looking to secure their place in the Championship Showdown.  Although Brad took control of LGT, the 3rd entrant was the Lords bodyguard, Cpl D.  LGT and Cpl D beat the Matthews down hard with an arsenal of big double team moves.  Matthews was somewhat saved when entrant 4 entered – The Metal – Metal immediately got in the faces of the Blue Blood and his bodyguard … the fans going cray for both Metal and Matthews as they took down the LGT and his goon.

Next in was Seb Winterz, looking to claim what he believes he was robbed of earlier in the show as a result of Destello costing him his match with G-Man … 6th wrestler in the ring is Angelos, still hot over his loss to Destello earlier in the night, he takes out Seb Winterz with an impressive cross body from the top rope, getting a near 3 count on the big man.  Action began still to the outside as well as in the ring, wrestlers battling with each other trying to eliminate whoever they could … the slightly twisted Angelos saw a moment and took it, as he hit a severe and extreme suicide dive from the top rope to the outside taking out LGT, Cpl D and even his own brother, The Metal!  The fans went wild to see the high risk move from Angelos.

Destello and Seb then came face to face in the centre of the ring … immediately a 2 way punch fest opened up as both men, equally annoyed about their earlier losses to the G-Man due each of their interferences in each others matches … this was broken up by the next entrant, Blue Ice … who rid of Seb, and then turned on Destello.

Night Stalker was next in … but not for long, as he walked straight into a waiting Blue Ice who instantly locked on the Ice Breaker onto Stalker for the 3 count … as Blue stood to showcase his excellence to the unappreciative crowd, he was locked into a triangle choke by the MMA fighter Brad Matthews – this was more than enough to get the big headed Blue Ice to tap out!

LGT and Cpl D were concentrating on the SuperNaturals brothers, Angelos & Metal … the Bluebloods planted Metal on top of Angelos after their double beatdown, allowing the ref to count to 3 and declare that Metal eliminated his own big-brother Angelos!  As Metal came round, he appeared to have no idea what had occurred, however Angelos seemed to take exception to him being eliminated from his opportunity and chance to become the BWP World Catchweight Champion, as he shove his younger brother out of the way as he exited the ring.

LGT then surprisingly and strangely turns on his own bodyguard – rolling him up for a quick pin and eliminating him from the competition.  As LGT argues with his protege to the outside of the ring, Metal went after the culprit of his brothers dismissal from the WrestleFestand hit his ‘HeavyMetal’ finisher on the Lord and gets the 123 … LGT is pinned by the kid twice in one night and is mildly separated from Cpl D as the bodyguard vented his frustration on the eliminated Night Stalker.

Winterz then quickly takes out Metal with a spike DDT as Destello simultaneously hits a swanton bomb on Brad Matthews, eliminating the home town hero from the WrestleFest – Destello’s winning streak is soon blitzed by the ready-waiting and very angry Seb Winterz as he locks on the ‘Onepeice’ and smashes Destello to the canvas to pick up the final 1-2-3 of the evening, and claiming his place in the BWP Championship Showdown along with the G-Man, Simon Gaytley!

As Seb leaves the ring, to the approval and support of the attending BWP Nation, Destello finally comes round and begins to physically and verbally provoke referee Tom Richards … Blue Ice, cleary still bothered by his elimination from the WrestleFest, returns to ringside and together with Destello they savagely gang up on the defenseless referee … as the crowd show their disapproval of the actions of the 2 BWP Superstars, the assault gets worse for Richards, until he was saved by Brad Matthews and the SuperNaturals as they stormed the ring and chased of the sore losers, Destello and Blue Ice.

Blue Ice Returns To The Ring

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

BWP Superstar, Blue Ice , will make a sensational return to the BWP ring on Saturday 30th May in Rhuddlan, North Wales.  After a lengthly sabbatical from the squared-circle, The Ice Man has announced to BWP Officials that he is ready to reek havoc on the BWP Superstars once again, his motive – the BWP Catchweight Championship title!

BWP Founder Steve Saxon has declared that Blue Ice will face ‘The Knock-Out’ Brad Matthews at the rapidly approaching BWP Unholy Union evening to be held at Rhuddlan on the 30th May …   although his match against Matthews will not be a Championship Chase qualifying match, both Ice & Matthews will be entered into the 2nd Champion Chase KO Rumble at the end of the evening, meaning that The Ice Man could still grab himself that Championship shot that he is so clearly hungry for!
