SEBWINTERZ
Hells Bells (HB) says
: Okay I’m here with the first ever BWP Champion, Sebastian D Winterz

Sebastian Winterz (SW) says: Indeed you are, you lucky devil

HB says: Haha Seb – of course it is an honour to interview you.

Now you have just been voted wrestler of the year and the first question I would like to ask about that is

Q1       How do you feel about winning your award?

SW says: Obviously it feels great and I appreciate all the fan support and every single person who voted for me, but it’s no consolation for the fact that I won’t start 2010 as the BWP Champion.

HB says: Yes I can see how that would be difficult to accept but still the fans did vote for you which leads to question two

Q2       Why do you think the fans voted for you?

SW says: I think I have a good rapport with my fans, obviously they have enjoyed my antics throughout the year and also they have marvelled in my almost year long undefeated streak.

HB says: That is an impressive record for sure and must have endeared the fans to you. Thinking about your colleagues now

Q3       If you had been presenting this award, who would you have given it to and why?

SW says: There is no doubt I would have given it to Jim King, he has tantalized audiences over the UK this year with his technique, speed and skill.

HB says: Very deserving and of course he is part of the Justice Circle with you and G-Man.

Now just for fun here is question four

Q4       If you could have won any award, real or imaginary, what award would you have liked to win?

SW says: I would like to be in the Pro Wrestler Illustrated top 500

HB says: So what you are saying is that you would like to have won your right to be in the PWI – not exactly an award as such but an accolade worthy of the first BWP Champion, well never say never Seb and thanks for answering the questions. The only other thing left to say is “Good Luck” in 2010.

SW says: Thank you

Its Sebby D. Winterz Time!

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

Saturday 11th July 2009, the UK changed from British Summer Time to Sebby D Winterz time.

The popular behemoth completed his three year journey and has made history as the first ever BWP Catchweight Champion.

It began last month in Rhuddlan, where Seb Winterz booked his place in the BWP Catchweight Championship Final after winning the Wrestlefest rumble. However if he was expecting an easy route to the final, he was sadly mistaken. Newcomer to the BWP Derek “The Motivator” Evans gave Sebastian Winterz a run for his money in a warm up match set up by new General Manager “The Word” Rudy Wynne . “The Motivator” showed experience beyond his years, focussing on the arm of the future champion through their 20 minute battle. Furthermore, Derek Evans managed to even take Seb through a workout session, with step ups and leg raises!

However, Sebastian Winterz fought back and won the match with a Seb Zero Sambo Suplex. “The Motivator” fought back with a heanous attack and was ready to snap the arm of the champ, but was rescued by “G-Man” Simon Gaytley .

Ironically, it was Gaytley was was the last pinned by Seb in the final for him to capture the championship. With “The Word” Rudy Wynne watching on from ringside, he eliminated a flowery Lord Graham Thomas following a fisherman’s suplex in the final eliminator match, and Angelos – who earlier in the night betrayed his brother The Metal in their match. Following the second Seb-Zero of the night, Winterz followed with a 1,2,3 and became the first ever BWP Catchweight Champion.

An impromptu celebration was had in the ring, as The Word originally refused to give the belt to Seb. However, after G-Man knocked Rudy out with a stiff right hand, an alternative crowning of the first ever BWP Catchweight Championship with Seb, G-Man, The Metal & “The Knockout” Brad Matthews all celebrating in the ring.

Following the crowning – Sebastian Winterz spoke to the crowd and announced that he would take on all comers, and will beat them all. Strong words from the champion, and following the performance in Wrexham on Saturday 11th July, it’ll take a strong competitor to beat him.
