The Metal Completes GM’s Challenge

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011

jimseb FRIDAY 4th FEBRUARY 2011 Jim ‘The Metal’ King entered the ring in what he thought would be a one on one encounter with his 2nd opponent, hand selected by BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz, but the match went on to be a gauntlet of matches and emotions.

From the offset Zero attacked King  with his fast fists and fierce feet – to the point that referee Des Robinson disqualified Zero for not letting go off King following a concussion he sustained.  The confused crowd, and Jim King, had no time to digest the result before Sebastian D.Winterz informed both the Saltney crowd & Jim King that he had Jims 3rd and final hand selected opponent ready to go, right there – right then!  Winterz went on to say ‘who better to beat you than the only man that you have never beaten’ – his very own older brother Marcus King!

As the sounds of the vanquished Marcus Kings entrance music played throughout the Saltney Tavern all eyes were targeted to the entrance stage … and as they were, Zero re-entered the ring and stood behind a shaken, groggy and shocked Jim King, and then proceeded to remove his mask to unveil the face of Jims brother Marcus King!!

As The Brand stood amused on the entrance stage signalling for The Metal to turn around and look behind him, the realisation of yet another Brand set-up came across the face of the former BWP Champion … turning to face his brother, Jim was immediately at the hands of yet another brutal beating from his brother Marcus.

In an unexpected scene from BWP history, Jim & Marcus King locked horns and literally went blow for blow in a match of skill, talent, revenge and resolution.  Jim and Marcus’s past battles always ended in victory for the older brother, something Jim has never been able to shake off his otherwise impeccable BWP record – Marcus was fired from the BWP back in May 2010 (along with ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne) at the hands of Steve Saxon & Jim King, although Saxon took the win by making Wynne tap out in a figure four leglock – a clean win/loss record Marcus may have over his younger sibling – but being the King of Kings he can not boast.

Fortunately for Jim the fans rallied behind him giving a much needed boost to his momentum as Marcus seemed to be the more dominating of the brothers following the GM’s shock revelation.  Jim managed to outwit his brother and zone in on his weaknesses, weaknesses that Jim knew better than anybody else, taking home

BWP Admin caught up Jim ‘The Metal’ King following his match in Saltney, he had made the following comments:

‘On Friday night I was screwed, I suffered a concussion at the hands of Sebastian Winterz, and lost an opportunity to face him 1 on 1 at 100% … Justice has yet to be served … that changes in Denbigh!’

denb

The matches are set … the BWP Superstars are raring to be unleashed on Denbigh, North Wales once again on Saturday 13th November … the waiting game continues as the Superstars and fans hype themselves up for what is expected to be a history making evening for British Wrestling.

At the start of the evening there will be just one BWP title holder – World Catchweight Champion D Mac … but by the time the final bell rings, there will be 2 BWP title holders as the BWP Rookie Division Championship title is unveiled in front of the live Denbigh crowd.

BWP Rookie’s will take part in a Championship Rookie Battle Royal to determine the first ever Rookie Champion. All Rookies will start off in the ring at the same time … when the bell rings they fight for survival as they try to stop themselves from being tossed over the top rope to the outside floor. The last man, or woman, standing will be crowned the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion and go down in BWP and British Wrestling history.

There will also be tag team action as Danny Sensation & The Bouncer team up to take on the uncontrollable force of ‘Rapid Fire’ Tommy Gunn & his partner, making his debut in the BWP ‘The Red Saint’. This masked superstar is a must see attraction for any show – teamed with the fan favorite Tommy Gunn, this is set to be a smash of match!

In the battle of the giants – Brit-Flick Star Sabotage takes on the Irish Whip Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Mandrake. These two ring colossal’s will collide in a match of strength, power and endurance. Which giant will stand tall? Its a close one!

Hot of the tail of last months Denbigh show, Lord Graham Thomas will face off against the man who cost him the BWP World Catchweight Championship, the Babyfaced Pitbull. Having just ‘won’ the championship from Jim ‘The Metal’ King, with a little help from his bodyguard Shaun ‘The Hammer’ Davis and crooked BWP General Manager Sebastian D. Winterz, Pitbull attacked ‘The Hammer’ and distracted LGT long enough for D Mac to cash in his Sure Shot Challenge Contract and get a quick 3 count on his Lordship!

Thomas is still furious over going down in history as boasting the shortest reign as BWP Champion in history! Now, he wants revenge – Lord Graham Thomas v Babyfaced Pitbull has been made a No1 Contenders match by GM Sebastian D. Winterz, so with a target to hit as well as revenge in mind who knows what will happen in this very personal rivalry?

The BWP General Manager will also address his actions last month against his ‘best friend’ Jim ‘Metal’ King. As Special Guest Referee last month in the LGT/King Championship match, Winterz betrayed his friend and cost him his title. Jim King wants answers … Sebastian D. Winterz says he will give them – and more!

The General Manager has been very ‘giving’ since last months Denbigh show, this was shown when he granted a BWP World Catchweight Championship match to ‘The Lethal’ DCB. DCB last month was carried out of the Denbigh Death Match against DJ King following a ‘draw’ ending. Both men took the other to the limit and beyond as they literally knocked each other out following a 30+ minute brutal battle. Sebastian D. Winterz has recognised DCB’s efforts by awarding him this chance to reclaim the BWP title.

Newly crowned BWP Champion D Mac will defend his title for the first time against an ex-champion, who seems to have the GM in his pocket. DCB is known for siding with power in order to gain the advantage and it has paid off in the past, but the popular D Mac has shown that he thrives on pressure and sets to defy all odd’s.

Who will be the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion come 13th November? Will we have a MMA fighting No1 Contender, or a Regal No1 Contender? Will D Mac defy the odd’s once again to overcome the tactics of DCB?

All of this and a whole lot more at Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 – Live Saturday 13th November 2010 at Denbigh Town Hall, North Wales

SEBWINTERZ
Hells Bells (HB) says
: Okay I’m here with the first ever BWP Champion, Sebastian D Winterz

Sebastian Winterz (SW) says: Indeed you are, you lucky devil

HB says: Haha Seb – of course it is an honour to interview you.

Now you have just been voted wrestler of the year and the first question I would like to ask about that is

Q1       How do you feel about winning your award?

SW says: Obviously it feels great and I appreciate all the fan support and every single person who voted for me, but it’s no consolation for the fact that I won’t start 2010 as the BWP Champion.

HB says: Yes I can see how that would be difficult to accept but still the fans did vote for you which leads to question two

Q2       Why do you think the fans voted for you?

SW says: I think I have a good rapport with my fans, obviously they have enjoyed my antics throughout the year and also they have marvelled in my almost year long undefeated streak.

HB says: That is an impressive record for sure and must have endeared the fans to you. Thinking about your colleagues now

Q3       If you had been presenting this award, who would you have given it to and why?

SW says: There is no doubt I would have given it to Jim King, he has tantalized audiences over the UK this year with his technique, speed and skill.

HB says: Very deserving and of course he is part of the Justice Circle with you and G-Man.

Now just for fun here is question four

Q4       If you could have won any award, real or imaginary, what award would you have liked to win?

SW says: I would like to be in the Pro Wrestler Illustrated top 500

HB says: So what you are saying is that you would like to have won your right to be in the PWI – not exactly an award as such but an accolade worthy of the first BWP Champion, well never say never Seb and thanks for answering the questions. The only other thing left to say is “Good Luck” in 2010.

SW says: Thank you

ith the first ever BWP champion, Sebastian D Winterz

Its Sebby D. Winterz Time!

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

Saturday 11th July 2009, the UK changed from British Summer Time to Sebby D Winterz time.

The popular behemoth completed his three year journey and has made history as the first ever BWP Catchweight Champion.

It began last month in Rhuddlan, where Seb Winterz booked his place in the BWP Catchweight Championship Final after winning the Wrestlefest rumble. However if he was expecting an easy route to the final, he was sadly mistaken. Newcomer to the BWP Derek “The Motivator” Evans gave Sebastian Winterz a run for his money in a warm up match set up by new General Manager “The Word” Rudy Wynne. “The Motivator” showed experience beyond his years, focussing on the arm of the future champion through their 20 minute battle. Furthermore, Derek Evans managed to even take Seb through a workout session, with step ups and leg raises!

However, Sebastian Winterz fought back and won the match with a Seb Zero Sambo Suplex. “The Motivator” fought back with a heanous attack and was ready to snap the arm of the champ, but was rescued by “G-Man” Simon Gaytley.

Ironically, it was Gaytley was was the last pinned by Seb in the final for him to capture the championship. With “The Word” Rudy Wynne watching on from ringside, he eliminated a flowery Lord Graham Thomas following a fisherman’s suplex in the final eliminator match, and Angelos – who earlier in the night betrayed his brother The Metal in their match. Following the second Seb-Zero of the night, Winterz followed with a 1,2,3 and became the first ever BWP Catchweight Champion.

An impromptu celebration was had in the ring, as The Word originally refused to give the belt to Seb. However, after G-Man knocked Rudy out with a stiff right hand, an alternative crowning of the first ever BWP Catchweight Championship with Seb, G-Man, The Metal & “The Knockout” Brad Matthews all celebrating in the ring.

Following the crowning – Sebastian Winterz spoke to the crowd and announced that he would take on all comers, and will beat them all. Strong words from the champion, and following the performance in Wrexham on Saturday 11th July, it’ll take a strong competitor to beat him.
