pbcjPWI:BWP WORLD CATCHWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
‘The Juice’ CJ Banks (c) Vs The  Babyface Pitbull

The opening bout of the evening was for the big one as current Champion CJ Banks squared off with former Champ the Pitbull in what was set to be a classic encounter until both Superstars were visciously attacked by The Brand before a winner could be determind.  The Brand took out both Champion and Challenger before informing the crowd that they were once again taking over the evenings proceedings and would be taking the charity proceeds with them!  BWP Owner Steve Saxon took clear exception to these actions as he put The Brand in a BWP Tag Team Championship Match later that night against none other than the two men they had just attacked – CJ Banks and The Babyface Pitbull!!  Saxon also stated that in the interest of fairness, he would appoint a Special Guest Referee who would be impartial, fair and would not be afraid to ’slap the smirks from off The Brands faces if they stepped out of line’ – that Special Guest Referee, was himself – Steve Saxon!!  The Brand were left seething, and Banks and Pitbull were left a little beat up and even more so confused.

Steve Saxon also announced that Pitbull and Banks would get their opportunity to finish their fight on Saturday 03 March at BWP Fight Night as it would be The Babyface Pitbull Vs CJ Banks in a PWI:BWP World Catchweight Championship rematch!

Winner of the Match: No Contest – therefore still PWI:BWP World Catchweight Champion ‘The Juice’ CJ Banks

ciarandeanDean MacManus Vs ‘Classic’ Ciaran McConnell

Seeking retaliation for his tag team partners injury at the hands of The Brands Dean MacManus several months ago, Ciaran McConnell took it to the big man with the army of fans behind him.  Dean MacManus is no easy task for any man though, and on a couple of occassions looked to have the victory clenched, until a mistake from Dean allowed the Classic one to quickly, and cleverly, lock in the figure 4 leg lock to his nemesis forcing MacManus to utter those words ‘I quit’.

Winner of this Match: ‘Classic’ Ciaran McConnnell

wintersmorganBWP ROOKIE DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Craig Winters (c) Vs Marc Morgan

The ‘Ultra Violent’ Craig Winters defended his Rookie Division Championship against the debuting Marc Morgan who put on an impressive display of speed, agility and guts against the down and out tramp that is Craig Winters.  Morgan battle through the stench of Ultra Violence and put the Champ on his back on numerous occasions, even threatening Winters to the point that he thought that he was losing grip of his prescious Championship belt – and ended the match on his terms, with a stiff running kick to the balls of Marc Morgan – intentionally carried out in front of referee Des Robinson who immediately disqualified the Rookie Champion, meaning that he retained the title and was about to leave Saltney Tavern a happy man – until Steve Saxon made an apperance once again – not a happy Owner at all!  Saxon declared that he was ’sick and tired’ of Winters attitude as of late, and he would not allow this controversy to continue – Saxon then apologised to the referee for over ruling his DQ decision, because Saxon then ordered the match to restart as a No Holds Barred match!

An irate Craig Winters and his valet Stacey Rose dragged themselves back to the ring – Winters heckled the BWP Owner before laying out Marc Morgan with the Rookie Division Championship belt as a reluctant Des Robinson made the 3 count!  Craig Winters laughed in the face of Steve Saxon and prepared to make his way back to the locker room – but a seething Steve Saxon was not going to have ‘that kind of scum’ in his locker room, and kicked Winters and Rose out of the front door of Saltney Tavern to the freezing Welsh weather!

The Winner of the Match: Craig Winters – still BWP Rookie Division Champion

joeyzackZack Gibson Vs Joey Starr

This match was everything it was expected to be on paper, and some!  Joey Starr and Zack Gibson are without a doubt two of the best Wrestlers in Britain at the moment, both with big futures in this business.  They locked up together with more or less equal stats and records and they gave the live crowd their money’s worth of action in their match alone!  Back and forth, hard hitting, adrenaline fueled action throughout – Joey had the Saltney crowd behind him from the offset as Gibson paraded to the ring to the sounds of You’ll Never Walk Alone, clad in his Liverpool FC attire – making it known to the majority of Man Utd fans present that he was overjoyed with the earlier football result between the two Northern teams (Liverpool beat Man Utd 2-1).

Although Joey’s efforts were admirable and hard fought, they were not enough to keep down Zack Gibson who managed to hit his patented ‘Soccer Kick’ to Starr’s face for the 1-2-3.

The Winner of the Match: Zack Gibson

BWP TAG TEAM No1 CONTENDERS MATCH
Jim ‘The Metal’ King & Immortal Yidster Vs The Wild Boys

Best friends Jim ‘The Meta’ King and The Immortal Yidster set to go 2-on-2 against The Wild Boys – but before the wrestling action went down, Yidster had a challenge for his opponents, in the form of a dance off!  The Saltney crowd cheered, applauded and laughed at the not so smooth moves that the Immortal one pulled out of the bag – and I think that every single person in the venue were gobsmacked by the double-act dance moves from The Wild Boys, clearly not the first time that they had  been in that position!

When  the match finally started the vast experience of tag team wrestling immediately gave Dylan Roberts and Danny Valentine the upper hand and they made a number of quick tags back and forth to stay on top of Yidster and King.  Then, as Jim King seemed to have control of the match having taken down both Wild Boys with a series of lethal knee and kick strikes, there seemed to be a little miscommunication between Yidster and Jim King as King hit the ropes to perform his final Mafia Kick finish, Yidster was on the outside apron and both fan favourites clashed heads – sending Yidster flying to the venue floor and took the wind out of the sails of The Metal long enough for the Wild Boys to take advantage and get a sneaky 3 count for the win!

Following the match King and Yidster were seen to be having words in the ring as The Wild Boys strutted their stuff back to the locker room.  As all seemed to be sorted and forgiven between the Immortal Yidster and his best friend Jim King, The Metal delivered a knock out mafia kick to Yidster, ripped his yellow vest off him and screamed in his face that ‘I do not wear your stupid clothes or come to the ring to your stupid music’ – the shocked fans and BWP crew members looked on completely stunned as Jim removed his trademark Captain armband and rammed it into his apparently former best friends face as he left the ring to a chorus of boo’s and hiss’s.

Winners of the Match: The Wild Boys

mainBWP TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The Brand (c) Vs CJ Banks & The Babyface Pitbull
Special Guest Referee: Steve Saxon

In a match that Steve Saxon set at the opening of the evening, CJ Banks and Babyface Pitbull were forced to try and forget their differences for a short time to try and take down The Brand and ‘bring home the gold’ as Saxon stated.  The Brand could not be prepared for a match of this calibre, having to defend their titles against two of the purest and finest wrestlers in Great Britain today, The Brand must have laid their hopes on Pitbull and Banks crumbling from within.  Another upset before the bell was rung was that Steve Saxon ordered ‘the little skank’ Stacey Rose to be banned from ringside along with all other Brand members – as the chant of ’skank’ echoed the through the venue, Miss Rose fled Saltney leaving her Tag Team Champions looking rather annoyed.

The Brand worked as a close unit as always, zoning in on their opponents and keeping them grounded – as best as they could on this instance – CJ Banks and Pitbull, although on the same team were far from on the same page.  They blind tagged each other in and out of the ring throughout the entire match, visually and audibly taunting each other as they set to trying to bring down the mighty Brand combo.  The Brand took advantage of the fact that CJ Banks and Babyface Pitbull could not, or would not, work together – individually both fighters tried to take down The Brand – a task that is near impossible for any individual man, slowly The Brand picked away at their opponents … until a arrogant Cyanide took his eye off the ball for a split second as he prepared to hit a Toxic-Bomb on Pitbull from the middle rope – Pitbull siezed this window of opportunity and locked Cyanide into a earth moving powerbomb!!  The ring shook as the 25 stone Tag Team Champion crashed down upon it, the fans were going crazy for Pitbull to make the winning pin – but then out of knowehere CJ Banks hit his running knee finisher on his tag team partner and at the same time landing on top of Cyanide in a senton splash – with Pitbull thrust to the outside and DJ King laid out on the venue floor all that was remaining to do was for Des Robinson to hit the 1-2-3 count!!!  The PWI:BWP World Catchweight Champion CJ Banks and the 2011 Wrestler of the Year The Babyface Pitbull are the NEW BWP Tag Team Champions in an amazing twist of fate!!!

CJ Banks grabbed his newly won Tag Team Championship title, along with his Catchweight title and left his tag team partner in the ring a little upset over what CJ had done to him, but non-the-less happy to once again be holding BWP gold!  It will be interesting to see the Tag Team Champions battle it out once more on 03 March at BWP Fight Night for CJ’s PWI:BWP World Catchweight Championship!

The Winners of this Match: CJ Banks & The Babyface Pitbull – NEW BWP Tag Team Champions

At the end of the match a furious DJ King cornered Steve Saxon and was about to strike his boss – not a wise move – however Steve Saxon (a former wrestler for almost 15 years) managed to avoid Kings left hook, and delivered a knockout enziguri to the former Tag Team Champion before leaving the ring to a huge ovation.

rumble
Every Britannia Wrestling Promotions Superstar on hand hit the ring for the rumble Main Event.  Immediately Cyanide vented his frustrations by powerbombing, slamming and pumbling the young Rookies before several BWP Superstars managed to topple the big man over the top rope to the venue floor!  Now the big risk was gone, the Superstars battled it out to claim the honour of being the last man standing.  15 minutes later there were just two men remaining, in another twist of fate it would be Joey Starr and Zack Gibson!  The crowd were red hot behind Starr who delivered a series of hard hitting finishers on Gibson, finished off by a lovely Peoples Elbow – Zack Gibson looked as if he didn’t know which country he was in as he managed to scramble back to his feet – jelly-legged and dazzled by the moves of Joey Starr – Joey paraded around the ring waiting for Gibson to find his bearings, and as soon as he did, Joey Starr tossed Zack Gibson over the top rope and down to the venue floor for the win!

The Winner of the Match: Joey Starr

Classic Encounters:Fantasy Fight Night Cyanide Vs Giant Haystacks

Britannia Wrestling Promotions –
Classic Encounters: Fantasy Fight Night
CYANIDE Vs GIANT HAYSTACKS

Giant Haystacks
Hailing From
: London
Height: 6’11”
Weight: 50 Stone (approx.)
Signature Moves: Big Splash, Elbow Drop
Career Highlights: British Heavyweight Champion, European Heavyweight Champion, Stampede Wrestling International Tag Team Champion (w/The Dynamite Kid, Bret Hart)

Cyanide
Hailing From
: ‘Wherever he damn well pleases’
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 28 Stone (approx.)
Signature Moves: Gas Chamber Splash, Michinoku Driver, One-Handed Sit out Chokebomb
Career Highlights: NGW Heavyweight Champion, BWP Tag Team Champion (Current:w/DJ King)

Bigger isn’t always better? Good luck convincing the first two subjects in this months first ever “Fantasy Fight Night” feature.  At a total combined weight of over half a tonne, both Cyanide and his prodigious predecessor, ‘Stacks, are potentially the last names a wrestler of this generation, or the last, would like to see opposite theirs on a job sheet.  How, though, would they fare against one another?

Undoubtedly the largest British wrestler of his era, Giant Haystacks used his size to great effect during his storied career.  Although globally reknowned for his legendary feud with another ‘battling behemoth’ in Big Daddy, Haystacks fought all over the world with all kinds of iconic adversaries from the ‘World of Sport’ era including Pat ‘Bomber’ Roach, Kendo Nagasaki, ‘Tarzan’ Johnny Wilson and Wayne Bridges. He also tangled with WWE stars such as Bret Hart, William Regal and, the mammoth, Big Show.  More often than not the result was all to familiar for Haystack’s foes, as he would come crashing down on top of them with a thunderous splash that would leave them vulnerable to a deciding pinfall or the dreaded ten-count knock out.

No stranger to a crippling splash from above, though, is “The Toxic Terror” Cyanide.  A rare and genuine monster on the British wrestling scene today, Cyanide, like Haystacks, is a man whose weight is often enough of a deciding factor to secure him victory in a match.  He is, however, far from a one-trick pony.  Gifted with wicked speed and brutally explosive strength, Cyanide has proved on many occasions that he is capable of putting away adversaries in many different ways.  Reigning (as of writing) as one half of the BWP Tag Team Champions, Cyanide holds pinfall victories over many top BWP stars including Sabotage, The Classic Combo, The Red Saint, D Mac and The Matthews Brothers.  As if he wasn’t a formiddable opponent for any BWP roster member himself, his association with DJ King & The Brand only increase the level of danger this man-monster brings to the table.

CYANIDE

Although Haystacks often came out on the losing end of his clashes with Big Daddy (like Cyanide, a man who, though big in his own right, was dwarfed by the mighty Giant) Cyanide would, no doubt, opt for a different approach than the ‘belly-butting’ Crabtree employed three-to-four decades ago.  His speed would be his best weapon in defeating the man-mountain, as Haystacks was unaccustomed to long drawn out bouts and he would likely tire after 2 or 3 fast-paced rounds.  Also a target for Cyanide is, strangely, a chink Haystacks exposed in his armour when he was near victory.  After delivering his trademark splash to a fallen foe, Haystacks would often take a great deal of time to get to his feet. Should Cyanide be able to bring Giant Haystacks to the deck, perhaps aided with a few Gas Chamber Splashes, it is unlikely that the fallen phenom would be able to make it up before the decisive ten-count.  Speaking of splashes, though, if Haystacks were able to execute the move to ‘The Toxic Terror’, it’s likely Cyanide would be the one left out for the count.

STACKS

This is just my opinion though, and you are quite welcome to express your own opinions in the comments box below about who you think would be the last giant standing between the late, great Giant Haystacks and ‘The Toxic Terror’ Cyanide.

Tag Teams Talk – Sights Set on Tag Gold

Friday, February 18th, 2011

DTH

The BWP tag team division are preparing for battle with just 1 week to go before they all step into the Tag Team Turmoil Championship Tournament – eight teams will compete in quarter final knock-out rounds but only one team will have what it takes to go all the way and be officially crowned as the 1st ever BWP Tag Team Champions!

BWP Admin caught up with the eight tag teams involved in this spectacular event and got some comments from each of them, here’s what they had to say:

‘CLASSIC’ CIARAN McCONNELL & COREY E

“They say the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and if that rings true then Corey E must be my best friend, because
the Brand is most certainly the enemy. Denbigh, February 26th, Tag team Turmoil II, Corey E & I stand together, Two
men, two goals: To bring back with us the Tag Team Championship and to Take a Stand… against The

Classic: ‘They say the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and if that rings true then Corey E must be my best friend, because the Brand is most certainly the enemy. Denbigh, February 26th, Tag team Turmoil II, Corey E & I stand together, Two men, two goals: To bring back with us the Tag Team Championship and to Take a Stand… against The Brand!’

Corey: ‘I’m feeling confident going into Tag Team Turmoil next weekend.  Not only is this because I am tagging with a guy who is over 6ft tall and a great technical wrestler in ‘Classic’ Ciaran McConnell, but because I myself have have had over a years experience in tag team wrestling.  Now this is an advantage which I know the majority of the other seven teams don’t have and I think that is a quality which will help us progress significantly through to the final.  Whether we have to battle friend or foe we have ONE aim, ONE goal, ONE destiny, and that is for myself and The Classic to prevail and become BWP’s first ever Tag Team Champions.’

SABOTAGE & TOMMY GUNN

Sabotage: ‘I’m looking forward to working with the best high flyer in BWP to take on and dominate the Tag Team Division. I’ve held 4 different tag team championships on the past 9 years and am looking forward to adding a 5th.

We represent the perfect balance of Power and Agility and everyone will fall at our feet.’

SHAUN ‘THE HAMMER’ DAVIS & JOEY STARR

Joey Starr: ‘Listen here dude, theres no question whats gonna happen at Tag Team Turmoil II, Mr Universe Joey Starr and The Hammer are gonna tear through the competition, bite, kick, claw and batter their way to be crowned the first ever BWP Tag Team Champions.

We are without a doubt the most physically imposing team that BWP has ever, ever seen, at Tag Team Turmoil II we prove it when we become, CHAMPIONS!’

The Hammer: ‘I will keep these comments short and sweet – TOTAL DOMINATION … nobody stands a chance against Joey Starr and The HAMMER … just hand over the title belts right now before someone gets hurt!’

THE BRAND: DANZIG BROS

Danzigs: ‘So my brother and I have a place in the Tag Team Turmoil in Denbigh next weekend.  Now as far as we’re concerned that means nothing but bad news for the BWP and whoever they throw our way and nothing but good for The Brand.

We’ve been fighting side by side for our whole lives. Last I checked there isn’t another team in BWP that can say that. Were taking those belts for The Brand and thats all there is to it.’

THE BRAND: DJ KING & CYANIDE

DJ King: ‘For anyone who wasnt fortunate enough to be in Chester for Brand night let me give you a little re-cap.  Me and the big man destroyed D Mac and put everyone who is gunning for those titles on check.  It doesn’t matter if it’s Tommy Gunn and Sabotage, Joey Starr & The Hammer or anyone else who thinks they can rub shoulders with the likes of us, the result will be the same.  DJ King and Cyanide : the first EVER BWP Tag Team Champions.’

RED SAINT & D MAC

Saint: ‘Well after beating 2 members of The Brand in one night, The Red Saint can’t wait to see what The Brand has planned at Tag Team Turmoil  …..and remember ……. THE SAINT HAS ARRIVED!!’

D Mac: ‘As the youngest BWP Catchweight Champ in history I am all about breaking records, so I know this the help of my homie The Red Saint I will become one half of the first ever BWP Tag Team Champions.  Its been hard to find a partner who I can trust after my former best friend DJ King turned his back on me and cost me the BWP title, but I know that on the 26th February in Denbigh me and Red Saint will be walking out Tag Team Champions!’

THE PRIMETIME PLAYA’S

Sensation: ‘Ever since I came to BWP last August The Sensation said big things would follow with him and many have said that has yet to happen, but now we’re in a new year and 2011 is the year of Sensation and what better way to kick it off than to make history and become one half of the 1st ever BWP Tag Team Champions. The Sensation wants to make something clear though and that is, he does not need anyone by his side, nor does he need anyone to accomplish great things but seeing as BWP management won’t let The Sensation enter this tournament alone, he has no choice but to get a tag team partner. Now Tag Team wrestling in this promotion has caused The Sensation many problems and the reason for that is every partner he’s had has let him down and been the route of his loosing. His former girlfriend, Melanie Price back in August and then The bouncer in November. The Sensation can’t team with people like that. People who are clearly not sensational. So The Sensation has done the only thing he can do and that is find a tag team partner that shares his qualities and the reason for that is because of blood. My tag team partner is my half brother, Jonny Jakpot. So i ask every team, how confident are you now knowing your entering a tournament against two brothers that know each other better than anything? I’ve said nothing looks better than gold around The Sensations sexy waist and come Tag Team Turmoil II, The Primetime Playa’s will rock this promotion down to it’s very core and take everything and anything that comes our way and anything that happens to be stood in our way, well get ready to become the past because the present and future has arrived.’

Jakpot: ‘Me and my half brother might as well be brothers because we’ve grown up as that and together we have a dream of holding Tag Titles together. On February 26th that dream becomes a reality and not because we’ve waited for the dream to come to us, it’s because we’ve gone and made that dream happen. BWP is about to see a change and that change is, it’s going primetime. The Primetime Playa’s will lead that by holding their tag team titles and if any other team that is thrown together at the last minute or any of the current teams think they are actually going to be an issue to us, well think again because as my half brother said, we know each other better than anything else. Thats the one thing missing from all the teams in this tournament, they don’t know each other like The Primetime Playa’s do. We’re family and we’re making sure the gold stays in the family because gold follows us around just like the women do if you know what i’m saying.’

JACOB ISRAEL & SPRINGBOK MATTHEWS

Springbok:
‘Tag Team Turmoil II is not just another show to me like it may be to some other competitors, to me it is a great opportunity to prove myself.  Not only is it a chance to grasp hold of BWP Tag Team gold, it is my return to BWP after being absent for 12 months due to injury.  For the last year whilst BWP carried on evolving and constantly moving forward I have been on the sidelines with no choice but to watch.  While titles have changed hands and legacies have been created, I’ve had no choice but to look in whilst to get my fitness back.

Now that has all changed and I am ready to return to BWP with a new stronger style and levels of determination.  I know th task before me at Tag Team Turmoil II is far from east but I assure you that Jacob Israel and myself will not lie down and will not be walked over and there is every chance we can win this.’

Friends;-

1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
2. A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
3. A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
4. One who supports, sympathises with and aides.

We all make friends throughout the different levels of life that we pass through, some come and go never to be heard from again, some stay in contact throughout your entire life occasionally popping up to say ‘hello’ and to check in on life, but very few acquired friends remain a constant part of your life from start to finish. These kind of friends we refer to as ‘best’ friends – the person or persons that we trust, rely on, connect with and entrust with our lives.

D Mac walked into BWP Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 as the BWP World Catchweight Champion, with his best friend DJ King at his side – however he left Denbigh alone, confused, betrayed and angry.

D Mac didn’t only lose the BWP World Catchweight Championship on Saturday 13th November 2010 … he lost his best friend.  The one person that he had faith in that he could trust, or at least he thought.  What would lead to DJ King, a respected member of the BWP Roster, to turn his back on his friend in favor of a group of corrupt, venomous individuals such as The Brand?  The main mystery of all of this is why King would align himself with ‘The Lethal’ DCB – 8 weeks following their epic encounter together in the Denbigh Death Match?

Could DJ King be envious or perhaps jealous of the recent success and achievements of D Mac?  D Mac and DJ King did briefly appear in a match together – the Sure Shot Challenge 5 Man Ladder Match back in August, of course D Mac went on to win the ladder match, proceeded by cashing it in against Lord Graham Thomas and winning the BWP Championship for the first time in his career the following month.  Could this have been what tipped DJ King over the edge?

Or is it a case that the returning Rudy Wynne simply got into the head of King in order to paint a bigger picture for The Brand?  Wynne has been known to flash the cash about in the BWP in order to bully recognition, but rarely respect … something DJ King will need to get used to receiving a lot less of due to his choice of current associates!  With the General Manager in on this whole fiasco, could DJ King have been promised a brighter future in the BWP in return for his conscience and soul?

We here at Britannia Wrestling Promotions have been successful in making contact with DJ King, however we have been less successful in receiving an answer to the one and only simple question – ‘Why?’ …. DJ Kings response on both separate occasions that question has been asked, ‘No Comment’!

We will continue to press this matter with DJ King and his fellow Brand associates.  For now, we offer a warning to all BWP Superstars – do not trust DJ King … do not trust Rudy Wynne and DO NOT trust The Brand!

Match Focus: D Mac Vs ‘The Lethal’ D.C.B.

MATCH FOCUS >> BWP WORLD CATCHWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – D MAC Vs ‘THE LETHAL’ D.C.B.

Match Summary: Former champion DCB takes on newly crowned champion D Mac in his fist title defense since winning it in September 2010 in Denbigh, D Mac now defends his title in the same place as he won it at Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2.  This match was made by BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz as a reward for DCB’s efforts and sacrifices in September against DJ King in the Denbigh Death Match.

Superstar Focus >> BWP World Catchweight Champion – D Mac
Age: 19
Height: 6′2″
Weight: 15st
Trained By: Andy Baker
Years Pro: 4

D Mac has been in the BWP little over 12 months, an instant crowd pleaser and fun loving guy, but not to be taken lightly.  The powerful and youthful D Mac has literally carried himself through the ranks of the BWP to get to where he is now.

D Mac qualified for the Sure Shot Challenge 5 Man Ladder Match earlier in August, beating some of the best athletes and warriors to the final hurdle in one of the most brutal ladder matches in British wrestling history.  Having won the Sure Shot Challenge D Mac had in turn guaranteed himself a BWP title shot anytime he wishes to cash it in within the next 12 months – and the BWP didn’t have to wait all that long before he did just that.

During Denbigh Town Hall Brawl in September, D Mac was challenged by Danny Sensation to put his SSC contract on the line in a match right there, and right then.  With the fans behind him, and not being one for turning down a challenge, D Mac accepted the offer and went 20+ minutes against the cocky but flambouyant Danny Sensation and beat him by pinfall.  Later in the night following a BWP title match between then champion Jim ‘The Metal’ King and Lord Graham Thomas, D Mac stood in the wings watching every second of the title match, waiting for the right time to seal the deal.

As LGT and Sebastian D. Winterz screwed the champion out of his belt, a furious Babyfaced Pitbull stormed the ring and took out LGT’s bodyguard, LGT distracted by this interupted, did not expect what was to come next as D Mac strutted to the ring and cashed in his SSC contract by wrapping the containing briefcase around the head of General Manager Sebastian D. Winterz – a tired and confused LGT could not even attempt to put up a defense as D Mac was straight upon him, locking in the Testdrive to get the 1-2-3 on the former champion, Lord Graham Thomas!

D Mac then paraded in the ring with fellow BWP Superstars as the audience stood in appreciation for the young champ, DJ King was the first man to his best friends side to shake his hand, shortly followed by the Mayor of Denbigh, Graham Maudsley who officially presented D Mac with the BWP World Catchweight Championship.

Superstar Focus >> ‘The Lethal’ D.C.B.
Age: 28
Height: 5′10″
Weight: 13st
Trained By: El Bandito
Years Pro: 13

D.C.B. is one of the longest serving members of the BWP roster and a former BWP World Catchweight Champion having beat Sebastian D. Winterz in Wrexham in November 2009 in the same way that D Mac won his first title, by cashing in the SSC contract following a hard fought match between Seb and Lord Graham Thomas – ironically 12 months later Sebastian D. Winterz as BWP General Manager has the last man to beat him into a World Catchweight title match!

DCB has always aligned himself with power figures in the BWP, in 2008 when BWP opened its doors DCB was escorted to the ring by his ‘hired help’ McGrou, a red hot Texan who used to like to get hands on in DCB’s matches.  McGrou was fired from the BWP due to his constant interference in matches and his lack of respect towards the BWP officials and management – this lead to the disappearance of DCB until November 2009 when he was enticed back to the BWP  by then General Manager, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne.  Wynne and DCB together formed ‘The Word Association’ along with Lord Graham Thomas and Marcus King.  When Rudy was fired from the BWP by Owner Steve Saxon, DCB shortly lost his BWP title to Jim ‘The Metal’ King and continued on a slight losing streak to what he had been used to under the influence of the Word Association.

‘The Lethal’ DCB seems to have now wormed his way into the ear of BWP General Manager Sebastian D. Winterz, DCB was carried out of his Denbigh Death Match in September against DJ King at the end of a hard, brutal and testing 30+ minutes that resulted in a draw.  Despite the efforts of both men, it is only DCB that has been awarded the privelage of a title shot where as his opponent DJ King has not even been booked for the Denbigh show.

Match Conclusion
This should be a hard hitting match on both parts, both men have different backgrounds, styles and strategies that should make to be an interesting match.  D Mac’s youth, size, weight and power advantages should easily make him the favorite in this one, but DCB’s experience, speed and mind hold as good of a defense as any other BWP Superstar’s.  DCB is known to strike hard and fast from the offset in an attempt to wear down his opponent enough so to finish the job quickly, causing himself minimal damage.  D Mac on the other hand likes to work his way into a match, utilising his power and size as his advantage against the attacks of his opponent and in his on offense.  D Mac needs to ground the masked man as soon as possible and stay clear of his fists and feet.

Who will win this match?  Its a close one.  D Mac is on a high at the moment and has an impressive recent track record in the BWP, he is full of momentum – DCB is on fire from the inside out, he lost his title back in March and has been desperate to get his hands on it ever since, we know he will take as many chances and opportunities as he can, whether legal or not, to try and get on top of the big man.
