The Metal v El Destello

At BWP Rural Rumble, Jim ‘The Metal’ King earned his first ever title opportunity by beating The Iron Duke, Andy Baker and the Babyface Pitbull in a Fatal 4Way No1 Contenders Match.

King qualified to become the 4th participant of the Fatal 4Way match back in January at BWP Tag Team Turmoil show in Abergele, North Wales – by being the last man standing in the Lethal Lottery 12 Man tag match.

Jim King has his eyes firmly fixed on taking the BWP gold from current champion, El Destello … but what price will The Metals title chase cost him? In recent months we have witnessed a darker and more sadistic side to El Destello – since his return to the BWP in November 2009, as Rudy Wynnes leading member of the Word Association, Destello has torn apart his opponents one by one, in one form or another.

At BWP Cruel Intentions last year, on his return night, The Lethal Luchador won the first ever Saxons Sure Shot Challenge match against The G-Man – on the same night he cashed in on his title shot contract against now-former champion Seb Winterz following Winterz’ gruelling match with Lord Graham Thomas – Destello attacked Seb with his Kendo Stick to pick up the win, and become the new BWP World Catchweight Champion!

At BWP tag Team Turmoil in January – El Destello beat ‘The Knock-Out’ Brad Matthews with the assistance of Rudy Wynne and his rule book – this caused Matthews to quit the BWP whilst El Destello is champion, and Rudy Wynne is General Manager due to their unfair and bias antics. But before Estelle’s match, he attacked Seb Winterz during his tag match against ShockWave – brutally assaulting the right shoulder of Winterz which has meant that Seb has not been seen since January due to his doctors declaring him unfit to participate in wrestling events until further notice.

And of course, the latest development in Destello’s path of destruction was witnessed last weekend in Denbigh, North Wales at the BWP Rural Rumble show – where El Destello & Rudy Wynne plotted against Zack Diamond, the scheduled opponent in the Denbigh Street Fight match later in the evening, by forcing him to participate against the New TranSiberien Express and attacking him with the Kendo Stick! After Zack was sent home by Rudy Wynne, he called for any BWP Superstar to try and take on the ‘unbeatable’ El Destello!

The G-Man stood up to that challenge, but not before Rudy added the stipulation that should G-Man lose, he must retire from professional wrestling forever! In what was one of the most sadistic, brutal and harsh matches that the BWP has ever witnessed, El Destello was able to pull off a victory, forcing the fan favourite to retire!

Later in the night, during the Rural Rumble match itself, it was noted that just a couple of minutes after El Destello entered the rumble, he was eliminated by a red hot Jim King! Who then went on to be the second man remaining in the rumble.

So, with that said – as well as everybody else that El Destello and Rudy Wynne have screwed over since Destello won his title belt back in November 2009 – he has shelved Seb Winterz and retired The G-Man – two thirds of the Justice Circle faction … is The Metal going to allow The Lethal Luchador to abruptly end the Justice Circle? Or will the remaining active member bring Justice to the BWP for his friends Seb Winterz and The G-Man?
