BWP General Manager Addresses the BWP Nation

brand3

We were able to finally meet up with BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz today and got to ask him one very important question, his response was somewhat interesting!:

BWP: Although you have explained yourself somewhat about why you turned on your best friend Jim ‘The Metal’ King, but there appears to be more to it than you are letting on, please elaborate about why you aligned yourself with Rudy Wynne and DCB – the 2 men that put you out of action almost 12 months ago?

SDW: Over the past week people have been badgering me about why I would turn on my ‘good’ friend Jim King, why I have joined forces with 2 men who just one year prior tried to take me out permanently. The answer is a simple one… betrayal.

Jim King betrayed me as a friend the moment he went behind my back and stole my world from underneath my feet. Rudy Wynne and DCB have never betrayed me… Despite the fact they both once hated me they never tried to hide that fact where as Jim waited for me to be taken out of the picture before stealing my spotlight. Rudy made me realise this during a few of his visits to me at the hospital. He made me realise that Jim king is nothing but a user and nothing but a letch, riding on my coat tails biding his time. I mean if DCB hadnt of attacked me, I wonder how long it would have been before Jim King grew the balls to do it himself. With this insight a plan was set into motion, where by everyone got exactly what they wanted, Rudy would get back into the BWP, DCB would get the title and I would get retribution over the Judas that is Jim King.

Some people have started to call me many things, they hate me and rightly so because I have also realised just how fickle the fans are as well. I didnt need you to win every single match I’ve ever had. You so called fans have been nothing but a distraction to me and instead of wasting my time entertaining the likes of you idiots I can allow myself to do just about whatever I want. The pathetic majourity have labelled me as jealous but Jim King took my fated destiny, he took my titles, my shots and my fans. I was the first ever BWP Champion… In my eyes he is nothing but the Champion of circumstance!

Jim King can not be compared to me because me and him aren’t even in the same league. I could have extinguished him in an instant back in Denbigh, but I thought I would make him work for something for once. So as general manager I set up a gaunlet challenge for Jim King and it will last as long as I want it to it will last untill the moment Jim King proves that he has what it takes to face me in the ring.

By turning your back on me you tipped the phantom hourglass, your fans should realise that their heros time isnt so much as borrowed but stolen… stolen from me and I fully intend to take it back. Point your sword skyward Jim because you stepped into a world of war… A world where you wont leave in one piece.

BWP General Manager
Sebastian D. Winterz

Togan-1st Ever Rookie Division Champion

At BWP Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 on Saturday 13th November 2010 history was made as the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion was crowned following a Rookie Battle Royale match that pitted all Rookies in an over the top rope challenge to open the show.

The added stipulation by BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz, was that the final two Rookies in the ring would then go into a pinfall match to determine and crown the new Champion!

Togan was one of the final two men – the other man in the form of ‘The Italian Stallion’ TVB!  Again these two Rookies crossed paths, just as they did back in September during the Rookie Gauntlet match that TVB walked away from victorious after successfully planting Togan with his Chokebomb finish.  This time round would be a different story as both men slugged it out with the final dregs of their physical and mental resources – it seemed at one stage that TVB had the title in the bag as he once again locked the masked Rookie in his Chokebomb, as TVB hoisted Togan in the air and slammed him to the mat, Togans leg chinned referee Des Robinson who took a bump to the canvas.

Togan was out and TVB had no referee to hit the required 3 count to name him the winner.  As The Stallion tried to revive the referee, a loitering Hangman slid back into the ring and took out the oblivious TVB from behind.  The Hangman looking for revenge on TVB for earlier eliminating him from the contest, KO’ed TVB with a height reducing Spike DDT … Hangman then held up the unconscious body of TVB so that a groggy Togan could hit his Buzzsaw Kick on him, rendering TVB completely out of it!

Referee Des Robinson slowly came around, but long enough to smack the BWP canvas 3 times – long enough for Togan to be declared the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion, but not without controversy.

Togan has been a formable Rookie since his arrival back in June 2010 when he successfully teamed with fellow Rookie Creevil to face Wade Wilson and TVB!  As mentioned previously, Togan has placed himself through pure talent and will at the top of the BWP since his debut, in September lasting until the very end of the Rookie Gauntlet, only to be outwrestled by the powerful TVB … this month however Togan got his payback by preventing the fan favorite TVB from becoming the Champ!

A new year is almost upon us, Togan will walk into 2011 as Champion, but will also walk straight into a title defense at the first BWP show in January.  It has yet to be announced who Togan will face in his first match as Rookie Champion – the BWP fans would of course love to see TVB in that match due to the controversial ending of the Championship Battle Royale, but no official word has been released.

Congratulation to Togan in placing his name in British Wrestling history.

Rudy Wynne Is Back!

rudysback

Thats right, you read correct – former Britannia Wrestling Promotions General Manager, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne is back in the BWP and is already causing havoc, panic and corruption amongst the BWP ranks.

At Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 last weekend, Wynne was welcomed back to the BWP by current General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz and ‘The Lethal’ DCB … once again the sounds of his annoying voice and the image of his smarmy persona rained down on the BWP fans, Rudy strutted to the ring, but it wasn’t long before someone looked for answers about why, and how, he was back?  Within moments of being back on BWP soil Rudy Wynne influenced a handicap submission match between DJ King and the Nightstalker and Zero – as well as putting Jim King in a match against the mountainous Cyanide in what seemed to be acts of punishment for the bold Superstars who dared to question him and what he referred to as The Brand in professional wrestling.

Since recruiting the unlikelycandidate of Sebastian D Winterz, Rudy can now boast (and no doubt will) that he has managed 3 of the 5 BWP World Catchweight Champions – as well as Sebastian D.Winterz there was Lord Graham Thomas and ‘The Lethal’ DCB … later in the night he would reunite DCB with the BWP Championship, an act of the power and control that Rudy Wynne has regained by aligning himself with the GM.  Before Winterz, Rudy was the BWP General Manager and influenced the demise of former BWP Superstars Brad Matthews and The G-Man as well as acting as dictator during many hideous attacks.

Rudy went mad with power and ego, he stood up to BWP Founder Steve Saxon and came up short and rendering himself unemployed and publicly humiliated.  Revenge, retribution and reimbursement of his pride and repuatuation is what Rudy now seeks, this time round he seems to have covered most angles, recruiting some of the most dangerous men in the BWP both in the ring and in the office!  Love Wynne or hate Wynne there is no taking away from his clever and conniving mind, it may have taken him over 6 months to get back to us, but now he is here the entire BWP Nation await with desperate nervousness to see what he, and The Brand, have in store for us all next.

Already we have witnessed the BWP title being put around the waist of ‘The Lethal’ DCB following the sickening sell-out of DJ King against his friend D Mac … a pattern continued following Sebastian D.Winterz costing his lifetime best friend Jim King the BWP title – we have witnessed The Brand take out the entire Rookie Division as well as carrying out a hideous and barbaric attack of Rookie Jacob Israel.  Alone, Rudy Wynne is a sinister and smart individual but with The Brand behind him he once again seems to have control over the ranks whether with official title or not, however this time that fact currently seems irrelevant!

The Brand have stated since the Denbigh show that there is ‘more to come’ … a short but simple message.  They have already shaken up the BWP locker room and we await a statement from BWP Founder Steve Saxon concerning Rudy’s return and what actions he intends to take to remove him once again before things get out of control.

The Brand new era … begins!

brand

Over the past couple of months many questions have been raised by the BWP Nation … and a lot of those questions, although not completely answered were at least more transparent as one man returned to Britannia Wrestling Promotions and declared war against the powers that be in the BWP!  That man … none other than the former BWP General Manager and Word Association leader ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne!

To a chorus of boo’s, ‘The Word’ strutted into a BWP venue once again, as smug as remembered and as tasteful as ever – the reason for his appearance down to current BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz and former associate ‘The Lethal’ DCB who gloated in the ring in front of the ‘back-up’ Daznig Brothers and welcomed Rudy back to the BWP with open arms.

As the 5 men stood in the ring Rudy Wynne informed the live Denbigh crowd that he was back, and back to unveil something special.  Wynne went onto explain that he was the one that pushed Sebastian D.Winterz to not only get the General Managers job but to cost his old-friend Jim ‘The Metal’ King the BWP World Catchweight Championship – the reason, so that Winterz as GM could re-employ Rudy Wynne who was fired back in May by Steve Saxon.  In turn, the GM made ‘The Lethal’ DCB the new No1 Contender to the title because ‘The Word’ apparently ordered it!

Rudy also said that as the night went on the BWP Nation would get to witness another surprise courtesy of ‘The Word’ and courtesy of The Brand!

Within 10 minutes of Rudy being back on BWP soil he encountered 2 confrontations, one with former BWP World Catchweight Champion Jim ‘The Metal’ King that resulted in The Metal being put into a match against the toxic and gigantic Cyanide later in the night to qualify to face Sebastian D.Winterz – the other confrontation with DJ King – who seemed to clash with The Brand – but this apparently later in the night was exposed as a complete sham!

The Brand stood tall as they walked to the ring with the strength in numbers plan firmly intact, the reigning and defending Champion D Mac was accompanied by his ‘best friend’ DJ King.  The match was won, D Mac had DCB beat with his Celtic Cross finish … until the Daznig Brothers stormed the ring to beat down on the champ whilst the ref was recovering from a knock he sustained.  Next came a sight that was mirrored to that of Septembers antics in Denbigh as DJ King chased off The Brand and then proceeded to KO his ‘best friend’ with a jaw breaking cutter … and to add insult to injury dragged the unconscious carcass of DCB on top of D Mac for the 3 count!

The crowd yelled and screamed at the actions of DJ King as he stood in the centre of the ring with The Brand surrounding him … and then proceeded to present the BWP World Catchweight Championship belt to ‘The Lethal’ DCB before they embraced in a sickening act of deceit and corruption.  As the mystery new Brand inductee was unveiled, the wolves set upon a defenseless and shocked D Mac … until the BWP Rookie Division showed up!

The Rookies stood together to take on The Brand … although their efforts were admirable they were not enough to take out the combined experience and power of The Brand.  Brand members beat down and rid the ring of the BWP Rookies … all except one!

Once again the wolves circled their prey – this time in the form of the young and gutsy Jacob Israel who had zero chance in doing anything other than trying to survive against these twisted individuals.  The familiar sight of Rudy Wynne standing and directed traffic to The Brand as they punched, kicked and beat Israel to a pulp – as the Rookies tried to re-enter the ring to save their comrade, The Brand kicked them back down to the venue floor as if they were nothing.  Wynne called for the Daznig Bros to double team on Israel, they hit him with a sick running corner punch followed by a jaw breaking superkick … next up was the latest Brand member to be introduced to the BWP Nation, DJ King, who KO’d Israel with a horrible GTS!  With Jacob on the floor and out of it, the Daznigs hoisted him up for a running  enzuguri from the GM Sebastian D.Winterz … before being presented in front of the new Champ – ‘The Lethal’ DCB locked in his Gunslinger finish and left the Rookie in a broken mess on the red of the BWP canvas.

Enough was enough as Jim ‘The Metal’ King and the No1 Contender to DCB’s title, the Babyfaced Pitbull stormed the ring and joined the Rookies to fend off The Brand and to get Jacob Israel medical attention ASAP.  Rudy Wynne not being known for his ring exiting speed, was left in the ring with the Pitbull and the Metal … but managed to push forwards C.Daznig into the clutches of the Babyfaced Pitbull in order to save his own skin, typical of the Rudy we knew and loved!  Pitbull sent a message home to DCB and The Brand as he smashed the Daznig Brother with 5 hard hitting suplex variations as The Brand high tailed it!

The Brand is a dangerous faction – we have seen them once, and that is enough.  Lets look at facts, the current BWP World Catchweight Champion – a former BWP World Catchweight Champion who happens to be the current BWP General Manager – the former BWP General Manager – the only man who took DCB to the limit and two young Brothers that are obvious threats.  That combo is bad enough, but The Brand have declared that ‘there is more to come’.

We caught up with a couple of The Brand members, first and foremost, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne.

BWP to Rudy Wynne: So you are the man behind the recent disruptions to the BWP?  2 simple questions Rudy, why and how?

Rudy Wynne: Of course I am! You were there on Saturday, what a stupid question that is.

Why?  Why’s simple – you saw the way I was treated on my exit, being dragged out of the arena by security. What you didn’t see was the effective management behind the scenes, who created the BWP Rookie Division?  Who signed deals behind the scenes bringing the best wrestlers to the BWP?  Who was generally turning what was a poor company into an efficient business today? It wasn’t Sax, that’s for sure! if it was him he’d still have that terrible ring. It was all my doing. Sure I wasn’t the most popular, but I was doing my job. And I was fired for doing a good job.

How is a little more tricky. Once I left I remained a mercenary, taking on business contracts & generally doing what I did for the BWP for other people. One such person is Sebastian D. Winterz, who realised just how good it was for him when I was General Manager. I mean, he was a champion! But since he was injured, his so called best friend abandoned him. He basically asked me to come back to the BWP, and offered me a huge contract to do so. That’s basically how.

BWP to DCB: Congratulations on your title win, however do you not feel that it was an unjust decision seeing as the final blow that cost D Mac the title came from DJ King?

DCB: Unjust?  Thats nonsense and you know it!  DCB won the match because DCB prepared to win the match.  2011 is just around the corner, in modern times you have to have a modern approach to succeed … by any means necessary.  What goes down in history is that yet again, ‘The Lethal’ DCB is the BWP World Catchweight Champion.  You need to learn some respect boy.

BWP to DJ KING: The fans want, and need to know why you turned on your best friend to help the same guy that in September you almost killed and who almost killed you?  Why?

DJ KING: No Comment

BWP Denbigh Town Hall Brawl part2 kicked off with a bang with the explosive and hugely hyped BWP Rookie Division Championship Battle Royale, as all Rookies walked to the ring one after the other, the bell was rung and the fight for the gold began.  The Rookies pounded whatever stepped before them in this over the top rope challenge, last man standing is crowned the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion, a goal that all men had their sights firmly set on.

rookies
As the clock ticked away Rookies were eliminated one by one, The Hangman notably eliminating 5 people including bench pressing the gutsy Jacob Israel over the top rope to solid wood venue floor, and the biggest man in Rookie Division Marcus Maximus.  But the ‘Itallion Stallion’ TVB outsmarted the Scottish Hangman and dropped him to the floor.

The final 2 men in the ring – which means they go to a pinfall finish as the added stipulation to be crowned Champion.  TVB stood nose to nose with the masked Togan, ironically not the first time these two Rookies had crossed paths.  TVB had the crowd rallying for him, both men were by this point worn and tired – but they battled on, Togan looked to have success in his grasp until he missed an attempt of his Buzzsaw kick, TVB reversed and hit Togan with his signature Chokebomb finish, but in doing so Togan’s leg chinned referee Des Robinson.  As TVB checked on the KO’d ref, The Hangman re-entered the ring from behind and took out TVB with a sickening spike DDT and then set him up for Togan to hit his buzzsaw kick to the unconscious TVB, the referee was revived by The Hangman long enough for him to hit the 3 count and declare Togan as the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion!

lgtpit
Next up was the No1 Contenders Match between former BWP World Catchweight Champion Lord Graham Thomas and the Babyfaced Pitbull, however the match did not start between these 2 men as the bodyguard of LGT, Shaun ‘The Hammer’ Davis attacked Pitbull during his entrance to the ring, ramming him into the ringpost several times as well as laying in his MMA powered left and right jabs and punches to Pitbulls skull.  During all of this, the regal Lord Graham Thomas strutted to the ring admiring what he was seeing, referee Joel Allen unable to do much other than try and pry the stone like body of The Hammer from off the defenseless Pitbull.

As LGT ordered his bodyguard out of the ring, he set upon slapping a beaten Pitbull about as the referee called for the starting bell … the sound of the bell obviously triggered something off inside of the Pitbull as he fired back in an attempt to fend off LGT long enough for him to gather his head again, a well aimed clothesline was enough to send his Lordship out of the ring and into the arms of The Hammer!

Every time that LGT tried to lock up with Pitbull, he was outwrestled to the mat with ease, this caused his Lordship to descend to the outside of the ring whilst he gathered his head, the chants of ‘Lady Grace’ from the Pitbull and Denbigh crowd seemed to rile the former Champion up, as he resorted back to basics and opened up with a frenzy of punches, and gaining control of the match and gaining a couple of close 2 counts.

‘The Hammer’ was never far away, at every opportunity getting physically involved in the match, sneeky punches and chokes behind the referee’s back, orchestrated by LGT’s distractions.  Pitbull wrestled this match with one eye on his opponent, and the other on the opponents corner!

LGT tried to put away Pitbull several times, but each time the resilient Pitbull fought back, only the numbers advantage prevented Pitbull from gaining a full offence in his comebacks.

As LGT got more and more frustrated with his failed winning efforts, he brought out his secret weapon once again, as Shaun ‘The Hammer’ Davis attacked his opponent with a massive spine shaking gutwrench suplex, referee Joel Allen immediately stopped the match and awarded Pitbull the win via DQ.

The onslaught did not stop after the bell rung as LGT laid KO’d on the canvas, The Hammer hit Pitbull with a big boot followed up with a amazing display as he hit the Jackhammer.

tag

Tag Team action up next as The Bouncer & Danny Sensation failed in their attempt at beating the combo of Blue Ice and ‘Rapid Fire’ Tommy Gunn.

In a lot of fast paced, high energy back and forth action from both teams, Blue Ice and Tommy Gunn outsmarted and out-wrestled their opponents, finishing them off with a top rope hurricarana into a frog splash – more than enough for Tommy to get the 3 count for his teams win.

The winner of this match: Tommy Gunn & Blue Ice

Following the match as Tommy Gunn was making his way backstage, The Bouncer out of knowhere attacked Gunn, on a rampage to hurt his victor, The Bouncer threw Tommy about like a rag doll – then out walked the 6′2″ Sabotage – shadows of Septembers Triple Threat Match between Bouncer, Gunn and the big man!  Bouncer, smile on face, gloated to the crowd as Sabotage locked his hand around the throat of a Gunn and hoisted him to his feet … as the audience anticipated a Sabotage chokeslam, the big man released his grip and grabbed Tommy’s hand – as The Bouncer turned around to see what was going on behind him, Sabotage laid in a huge forearm smash to the face of Bouncer sending him crashing out of the ring.

Sabotage grabbed the microphone and stated that Tommy Gunn took him to the limit during their Triple Threat Match and he is one of the most talented Superstars in the BWP locker room, with that he shook Gunn’s hand and raised it in respect to the fan favorite Tommy Gunn.

brand

Interrupting proceedings, BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz along with No1 Contender ‘The Lethal’ DCB walked to the ring … along with 2 young brothers known as the Daznig Brothers. Winterz was quick to let the cat out of the bag, as he pointed out the reason for certain recent events was in fact down to one man, one man that the BWP are very familiar with … that man, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne – with the name declared the BWP Nation once again witnessed Rudy Wynne strutting to the ring … the crowd immediately showing Rudy how much they disapprove of him only seemed to work Rudy into more of a frenzy as he climbed into the BWP ring once again, welcomed into open arms by members of what would be referred to only as ‘The Brand’.

In addition to the nights scheduled matches, DJ King was booked against Zero & The Nightstalker in a handicapped submission match by BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz and the returning Rudy Wynne.  Numbers against him, DJ King had no time to prepare for this match and went at it in the only way he knows, fists up.

DJ surprisingly managed to hold his own throughout the start of the match … going back and forth on both men and almost managing to successfully hit his GTS finish on Zero, but Zero’s amateur background came forth as he managed to reverse the GTS into an ankle lock submission, the first attempt of victory in the match.

Once the duo had the upper hand they locked onto King, who was still trying his utmost to get back to his feet and fight back against the masked henchmen of Rudy Wynne, but ’strength in numbers’ came into play and the double act took control.  At one point Nightstalker locked in a backbreaking camel clutch as Zero locked on yet another ankle lock at the same time … with the Denbigh fans behind him, DJ King managed to claw his way out of the combo submission, but not long enough to even get to his feet before the blood thirsty masks were upon him again.

Everything seemed to much for DJ King to come back from, attempt after attempt to get the upper hand and regain control of the match just failed as the team of Nightstalker and Zero worked in harmony with each other to ensure that one man was always the other mans back … DJ King could not prepare for a match of this magnitude but none-the-less he gave it his all.  Zero and Nightstalker set up King for a finish … just as BWP World Catchweight Champion D Mac made his way to ringside and dragged Nightstalker out of the ring long enough for DJ King to reverse Zero’s full nelson attempt into a crippler crossface, Zero held on for as long as he could before tapping furiously to give DJ King the unexpected and much deserved win!

The Champ D Mac celebrated inside the ring with his best friend DJ King, and the 2 men left together as they then prepared for D Mac’s title defense later in the night against The Brands ‘Lethal’ DCB!

joeysab
With the crowd rallying behind Sabotage following his show of respect earlier whilst assisting Tommy Gunn to fend off the attack of The Bouncer, Joey Starr rightfully looked nervous as well as his normal cocky self.  Starr tried to get into the mind of the white eyed warrior by standing toe-to-toe, and act that some would consider courageous, but most would consider an act of stupidity!

Sabotage threw Starr about the BWP ring with ease, he didn’t give the king of cocky a moment to breath as he whipped him from corner to corner and all around the ring, however you should never discount Starr, he is cocky for a reason which showed as he lured referee Des Robinson away from the in ring action as he complained about the BWP audience, and in the process sneaking in a low blow to Sabotage, sending him crashing to the canvas.

Starr was now on top, and took full advantage of this fact.  Starr immediately zoned in on Sabotages leg, trying to immobilise the big man, and his offence seemed to be working to plan as he avoided the clutches of Sabotage on numerous occasions, taking full advantage of his lighter and more agile physique and attacking the leg wherever and whichever way he could – Sabotage managed to lock in his trademark Chokelsam at one point, but Joey Starr managed to reverse it and again take out the big mans leg from underneath him.

Then Starr made a vital mistake, he tried to trade blows with the Sabotage that ultimately lost him the control of the match, as Sabotage’s blows landed hard and on target each and every time, Sabotage quickly making the most of the opening he had made locked Starr into his spine smashing sidewalk slam but this was not enough for Starr to be put away.  Sabotage back to his feet slowly and showing obvious signs of discomfort from his leg, Joey Starr capitalised on this by shifting clear of Sabotage’s misjudged legdrop – and then proceeded to bash away at the wounded leg once again.
Starr could not stop himself from being the highlight of the night and his ego got the the better of him as he went to set Sabotage up for a chokeslam, not accounting for the massive height and weight advantages that Sab holds over him, Sabotage came back with a couple of stiff elbows to Starr’s cranium – Sabotage locked on the chokeslam once again, but Starr went back to the leg, but yet again took his eye off the ball as he climbed to the middle rope for an axehandle attempt, only to be caught in mid-air by an awaiting claw of Sabotage – with one simple lift Sabotage planted Joey Starr into the mat and got the 1-2-3 count!

jimcyanide

In a match set by the GM earlier in the night, Jim ‘The Metal’ King had to face a BWP Superstar of Sebastian D.Winterz choice, if successful King then gets one step closer to his one-on-one match with GM that he desires more than anything.  The GM’s choice of the evening – the gigantic 370lb Cyanide!

Jim, outweighed and outnumbered as the GM stood in the corner of Cyanide, tried his best to take the big man down.  Attempt after attempt to shift the beast only resulted in Cyanide putting the former BWP Champion down over and over again.  The ever resilient Jim King refused to remain down however, with the fans rallying behind him Jim relied on speed advantage as he ran circles around his enormous foe, as the big man baled to the outside for a breather, King did not give up as he launched himself over the top rope to the outside, taking Cyanide off his feet.  As Jim watched on the ref’s count, BWP GM Sebastian D.Winterz got up in Jims face long enough for Cyanide to see what was going on and take out Metal from behind.

Cyanide hit power move after power move on his opponent, in no hurry to end Kings pain he continued to pile on the pressure and break Jim down.  However the BWP newcomer did not prepare for the attitude of Jim King, who has a knack for defying odd’s and turning events around in his favor.  Following a failed Cyanide-Bomb splash, King immediately locked onto the big mans left arm, locking in a short-armbar lock, Cyanide held on as long as he could until the pain was too much, and tapped to give Jim ‘The Metal’ King the win he was looking for.

Your winner, and one step closer to his match with Sebastian D.Winterz – Jim ‘The Metal’ King!

dcbdmac

‘The Lethal’ DCB paraded to the ring, kendo stick in hand and closely followed by fellow Brand members Sebastian D.Winterz, Rudy Wynne and the Daznig Brothers.  DCB looked calm and collective as he awaited the entrance of his opponent, the man holding the gold that DCB once held and has been desperate to get back since losing.

In dances D Mac, as confident as ever, and in an attempt to try and balance things out against The Brand, in his corner is his loyal and trusted friend, DJ King.

D Mac and DCB stare each other down from corner to corner as referee Des Robinson shows off the BWP World Catchweight Championship title to the crowd and to both contenders.  Bell sounds and the title is on the line.

D Mac from the start utilised his size advantage by quickly putting the masked man on his backside, DCB took every opportunity to scoop out of the ring to the aid of his comrades.  DCB managed to take over for a moment, but D Mac quickly reversed into a series of slams and backdrops – again sending DCB to the outside to bide some time and regroup.

DCB didn’t seem to take kindly to being made to look a fool by the Champ and re-entered the ring exploding with lefts and rights, hooks and kicks, but again D Mac took control of the situation by knocking the ex-Champ down with his size advantage.  DCB as always clawed his way back in control, sending D Mac to the outside of the ring into the grasps of the awaiting Brand who took no time in laying in stiff targeted shots to D Mac, before DJ King managed to fend off the troops with his intervention.

The Brand showed why they declare themselves as THE Wrestling Brand, as they showed perfect team working abilities against D Mac as DCB acted as the distraction … by any means necessary … DCB remained on top of the action, but referee Des Robinson got literally dragged into the action as D Mac’s corner splash attempt went wrong and he KO’d the wrong man!  None-the-less the Champ did not allow this to put him off his game as he avoided an attack from DCB and hit his signature Celtic Cross finish – to his despair there was no referee to make what was an apparent and obvious 3 count.

Seeing what was happening to their team mate, the Daznig Bros were ordered into the ring by Winterz & Wynne … they set upon D Mac from behind and until DJ King stormed the ring shoving both of the Brothers to the outside … as D Mac regained himself and gave DJ the nod of appreciation for his help, DJ King did the unthinkable and hit a knockout cutter to his best friend rendering him unconscious on the BWP canvas.  The Denbigh audience looked on in total disbelief and astonishment as they tried to figure out what the hell was going on … DJ King stood over the body of D Mac and then glanced over at ‘The Lethal’ DCB, still out from D Mac’s earlier Celtic Cross … and he dragged the body of DCB on top of his ‘best friends’ and gave Des Robinson a slap to revive him … unknown to the referee, Des hit a slow and painful 3 count and calling for the bell – making ‘The Lethal’ DCB the new BWP World Catchweight Champion for the 2nd time in his career … but not without the disgusting, disloyal and despicable antics of DJ King!  For the 2nd time in a matter of weeks the BWP Nation have witnessed best friends colliding as Seb Winterz cost Jim King his title in September in favor of The Brand, and now DJ King mirrored history as he betrayed his old time closest friend D Mac in favor not only of The Brand, but in favor of the very man that 2 months prior had almost killed DJ King … and DJ King almost did the same to the new Champ in their Denbigh Death Match!  Why would DJ King not only turn on his best friend but to align with the most disgusting individuals in the industry?!

DJ King showed his alligiance with The Brand as he awarded DCB with the BWP title and a heartfelt man-hug to follow … and then, DCB loaned the title to DJ King so that he could smash it across the skull of a defenseless D Mac!  Enough was enough for those backstage as the Rookie Division showed unity and stormed the ring to battle The Brand and help D Mac.  The Rookies tried to take out The Brand, or most did at least as new Rookie Division Champion Togan and The Hangman held back and waited outside the ring, if this had not have been the case perhaps the Rookies would have had more of a chance against The Brand who tossed them all to the outside of the ring … all except one!

The Brand, like a pack of wolves, circled one Rookie as if their prey … the unfortunate Rookie … the young and gutsy Jacob Israel.  Israel looked a rabbit in headlights as he suddenly realised what was about to come his way … a beating … Brand style!  Rudy Wynne acted as master of ceremonies as he firstly ordered the Daznig Bros to hit a double team punch/super kick combo on the young Jewish Rookie, shortly followed by a chin smashing GTS from the newest Brand member DJ King.  This was not enough as BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz attacked Israel with a stiff scissor kick to the ribs – and then Jacob Israel was right for the serving, he was presented in front of the new BWP Champion DCB, as DCB laid his title in the centre of the ring, as if in an act to mark his territory, he locked Jacob into his Gunslinger move – that left the young and brave Rookie reeling in pain on the red canvas.

With the Brand making their point loud and clear, came the sounds of the Pitbull … Babyfaced Pitbull along with Jim ‘The Metal’ King chased off The Brand as they rallied with the Rookie Division members.  Rudy Wynne was at one point trapped in the ring with Pitbull and The Metal, but avoided being captured as he shoved Brand member C.Daznig into the clutches of an awaiting Pitbull who proceeded to send a message home to The Brand in the form of 5 suplex variations followed up by a short armbar submission by King.

The BWP Rookies stood side by side … minus a couple of members … with D Mac, Jim King and the Babyfaced Pitbull, sending home a message to The Brand … divisions we may be, but divided we are not!

MATCH FOCUS >> BWP ROOKIE DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE ROYALE

Match Summary
: BWP General Manager Sebastian D. Winterz has introduced the BWP Rookie Division Championship – he has also set a Rookie Battle Royale to determine and crown the new, and first ever Rookie Champ!  The controversial GM has hand selected the participants (see below) to battle it out to mark their place in British Wrestling history. The idea of the match – all participating Rookies will start off in the ring at the same time.  When the bell sounds, they will fight amongst themselves trying to eliminate their opponents by tossing them over the top rope so that both feet hit the venue floor, whilst at the same time preventing their opponents from doing the same to them.  The last Rookie standing will be crowned the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion.

Superstar Focus
: The BWP Rookies entered into this match are as follows:
The ‘Italian Stallion’ TVB
‘The Hangman’ Draven Cage
Miss Kitty
Corey E
Bryan B
Marcus Maximus
Togan
Ghostfaced Thrilla
Wade Wilson
Johnny Jackpot
Jacob Israel
The Motivator
Saturday Night Saint

Match  Conclusion
: In a match such as a Battle Royale, it comes down to stamina, will to survive and quite frankly weight!  The heavier you are, the harder for your opposition to throw you over the top rope!  This gives an automatic advantage to the likes of Marcus Maximus, Saturday Night Saint, Miss Kitty, ‘The Hangman’ Draven Cage and The Motivator. However do not discount the unmentioned BWP Rookies, TVB is a big guy with lots of heart and has proved himself twice before in similar styles of competition in the Rookie Division, winning the Rookie Rumble and Rookie Gauntlet earlier this year.  Jacob Israel has also shown that he is not willing to back down from any fight, and is not a quitter, getting rid of the Jewish jumping-bean may not be an easy task! Its very hard to pick a winner from such a mixed group of people, however on this occasion our choice goes with the biggest of the bunch, ‘The Hangman’ Draven Cage … but in all honesty, it is an open contest!

MATCH FOCUS >> No1 Contenders Match – Lord Graham Thomas V Babyfaced Pitbull

Match Summary: Former champion Lord Graham Thomas takes on the Babyfaced Pitbull in a No1 Contenders match at Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 this weekend.  LGT is looking for revenge on Pitbull for his part in costing him the BWP World Catchweight Championship last month in Denbigh against D Mac.  The reason for Pitbulls involvement in his Lordships match was due to the public humiliation Pitbull received courtesy of Lord Graham Thomas and his bodyguard Shaun ‘The Hammer’ Davis.

Superstar Focus >> Lord Graham Thomas

Age: 26
Height: 6′0″
Weight: 230lbs
Trained By: Kev O’Neill
Years Pro: 5

Lord Graham Thomas is one of the longest serving BWP Superstars on the Main Roster as well as a two time BWP World Catchweight Champion, defeating Jim ‘The Metal’ King for both crowns.  LGT has always been considered a dangerous and powerful member of the BWP roster, as well as being known as a cocky, arrogant and shovanist.  Thomas doesn’t seem to like to run on his own in the BWP, aligning himself with The Word Association in 2009/10 and more recently hiring the services of man-mountain Shaun ‘The Hammer’ Davis for that extra reassurance. Lord Graham Thomas has regal connections – being a second cousin to members of the British Royal Family, he certainly uses this status to get what he wants in the BWP.  From the moment he walks into a venue he is heckled for this attitude towards fans, wrestlers and even BWP officials as he demands the referee of his matches drop to the venue floor to allow him to step on their back in order to comfortably enter the ring, a complete disrespect for the BWP officials as human beings.  He has no respect for anybody other than himself and his regal counterparts, and of course for his bodyguard Shaun Davis who watches LGT’s 24 hours a day due to the increasing risk of attack from those that Lord Graham Thomas has crossed.

In 2009 Lord Graham Thomas scooped a prestigious award at the BWP Awards Bash – the award being Diva of the Year!  This was awarded for his lavish demands backstage and in the ring, as well as the fact that he was dressed up in a fetching lime green dress as a result of losing to the G Man, something that took months for the BWP fans to drop, until Babyfaced Pitbull recently brought up the ‘Gay Lord’ and ‘Lady Grace Thomas’ references when addressing his Lordship – something that visibly rattled LGT.  All of these fun and games may be entertaining for the BWP fans and for Pitbull, but be warned that Lord Graham Thomas is a nasty piece of work and when pushed is known for his smash-mouth poundings, and with ‘The Hammer’ at his side, those smash-mouth poundings will come faster and harder than ever before.

Superstar Focus >> The Babyfaced Pitbull

Height: 5′9″

The Babyfaced Pitbull
is one of the best all round athletes and competitors not only in the BWP but in the whole of the UK.  Having achieved multiple titles and honors in Greco Roman/Freestyle Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Thai Boxing as well as wrestling, Pitbull is a force to be reckoned with.  A self confessed ’silverware man’ – Pitbull’s only objective and motivation is BWP gold.  This No1 Contenders Match means double points for the fighting machine as he not only gets further retrobution on Lord Graham Thomas following last months humiliation, but he also gets his opportunity to guarantee himself a BWP World Catchweight Championship match against whomever the champion may be following this weekends Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 show.

Pitbull is used to being booed by the fans, however his actions last month when he declined LGT’s business proposal of joinging him and ‘The Hammer’ in order to seal LGT’s chance of winning back the BWP title, certainly brought a few smiles to the BWP fans faces – these smiles grew wider as the night progressed and Pitbull interrupted LGT’s title celebrations, taking out his bodyguard and distracting LGT long enough for D Mac to cash in on his Sure Shot Challenge contract and making LGT the shortest reigning BWP World Catchweight Champion in history!

Match Conclusion
The Babyfaced Pitbull walks into Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 with the odds immediately stacked against him.  Lord Graham Thomas has the weight, height and experience advantages and of course the advantage of having a 6′5″, 18st Shaun ‘The Hammer’ Davis at ringside with him.  Pitbulls has his strength, agility, stamina and pure determination on his side, but both men have a short fuse which could put both men at risk if they allow themselves to lose control.  You may say that losing control of themselves could favor them, but in a match of this magnitude where a BWP world Catchweight Championship shot is on the line, neither competitor can risk making a single mistake and therefore must keep a cool and calculated head. Who will win this match?  Its not an easy choice, but on this occasion I must say that Lord Graham Thomas with his advantages over Pitbull seems to be the odd’s on favorite to win, and odd’s are calculated based on history.

Match Focus: D Mac Vs ‘The Lethal’ D.C.B.

MATCH FOCUS >> BWP WORLD CATCHWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – D MAC Vs ‘THE LETHAL’ D.C.B.

Match Summary: Former champion DCB takes on newly crowned champion D Mac in his fist title defense since winning it in September 2010 in Denbigh, D Mac now defends his title in the same place as he won it at Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2.  This match was made by BWP General Manager Sebastian D.Winterz as a reward for DCB’s efforts and sacrifices in September against DJ King in the Denbigh Death Match.

Superstar Focus >> BWP World Catchweight Champion – D Mac
Age: 19
Height: 6′2″
Weight: 15st
Trained By: Andy Baker
Years Pro: 4

D Mac has been in the BWP little over 12 months, an instant crowd pleaser and fun loving guy, but not to be taken lightly.  The powerful and youthful D Mac has literally carried himself through the ranks of the BWP to get to where he is now.

D Mac qualified for the Sure Shot Challenge 5 Man Ladder Match earlier in August, beating some of the best athletes and warriors to the final hurdle in one of the most brutal ladder matches in British wrestling history.  Having won the Sure Shot Challenge D Mac had in turn guaranteed himself a BWP title shot anytime he wishes to cash it in within the next 12 months – and the BWP didn’t have to wait all that long before he did just that.

During Denbigh Town Hall Brawl in September, D Mac was challenged by Danny Sensation to put his SSC contract on the line in a match right there, and right then.  With the fans behind him, and not being one for turning down a challenge, D Mac accepted the offer and went 20+ minutes against the cocky but flambouyant Danny Sensation and beat him by pinfall.  Later in the night following a BWP title match between then champion Jim ‘The Metal’ King and Lord Graham Thomas, D Mac stood in the wings watching every second of the title match, waiting for the right time to seal the deal.

As LGT and Sebastian D. Winterz screwed the champion out of his belt, a furious Babyfaced Pitbull stormed the ring and took out LGT’s bodyguard, LGT distracted by this interupted, did not expect what was to come next as D Mac strutted to the ring and cashed in his SSC contract by wrapping the containing briefcase around the head of General Manager Sebastian D. Winterz – a tired and confused LGT could not even attempt to put up a defense as D Mac was straight upon him, locking in the Testdrive to get the 1-2-3 on the former champion, Lord Graham Thomas!

D Mac then paraded in the ring with fellow BWP Superstars as the audience stood in appreciation for the young champ, DJ King was the first man to his best friends side to shake his hand, shortly followed by the Mayor of Denbigh, Graham Maudsley who officially presented D Mac with the BWP World Catchweight Championship.

Superstar Focus >> ‘The Lethal’ D.C.B.
Age: 28
Height: 5′10″
Weight: 13st
Trained By: El Bandito
Years Pro: 13

D.C.B. is one of the longest serving members of the BWP roster and a former BWP World Catchweight Champion having beat Sebastian D. Winterz in Wrexham in November 2009 in the same way that D Mac won his first title, by cashing in the SSC contract following a hard fought match between Seb and Lord Graham Thomas – ironically 12 months later Sebastian D. Winterz as BWP General Manager has the last man to beat him into a World Catchweight title match!

DCB has always aligned himself with power figures in the BWP, in 2008 when BWP opened its doors DCB was escorted to the ring by his ‘hired help’ McGrou, a red hot Texan who used to like to get hands on in DCB’s matches.  McGrou was fired from the BWP due to his constant interference in matches and his lack of respect towards the BWP officials and management – this lead to the disappearance of DCB until November 2009 when he was enticed back to the BWP  by then General Manager, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne.  Wynne and DCB together formed ‘The Word Association’ along with Lord Graham Thomas and Marcus King.  When Rudy was fired from the BWP by Owner Steve Saxon, DCB shortly lost his BWP title to Jim ‘The Metal’ King and continued on a slight losing streak to what he had been used to under the influence of the Word Association.

‘The Lethal’ DCB seems to have now wormed his way into the ear of BWP General Manager Sebastian D. Winterz, DCB was carried out of his Denbigh Death Match in September against DJ King at the end of a hard, brutal and testing 30+ minutes that resulted in a draw.  Despite the efforts of both men, it is only DCB that has been awarded the privelage of a title shot where as his opponent DJ King has not even been booked for the Denbigh show.

Match Conclusion
This should be a hard hitting match on both parts, both men have different backgrounds, styles and strategies that should make to be an interesting match.  D Mac’s youth, size, weight and power advantages should easily make him the favorite in this one, but DCB’s experience, speed and mind hold as good of a defense as any other BWP Superstar’s.  DCB is known to strike hard and fast from the offset in an attempt to wear down his opponent enough so to finish the job quickly, causing himself minimal damage.  D Mac on the other hand likes to work his way into a match, utilising his power and size as his advantage against the attacks of his opponent and in his on offense.  D Mac needs to ground the masked man as soon as possible and stay clear of his fists and feet.

Who will win this match?  Its a close one.  D Mac is on a high at the moment and has an impressive recent track record in the BWP, he is full of momentum – DCB is on fire from the inside out, he lost his title back in March and has been desperate to get his hands on it ever since, we know he will take as many chances and opportunities as he can, whether legal or not, to try and get on top of the big man.

BWP Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 Just Around The Corner!

denb

The matches are set … the BWP Superstars are raring to be unleashed on Denbigh, North Wales once again on Saturday 13th November … the waiting game continues as the Superstars and fans hype themselves up for what is expected to be a history making evening for British Wrestling.

At the start of the evening there will be just one BWP title holder – World Catchweight Champion D Mac … but by the time the final bell rings, there will be 2 BWP title holders as the BWP Rookie Division Championship title is unveiled in front of the live Denbigh crowd.

BWP Rookie’s will take part in a Championship Rookie Battle Royal to determine the first ever Rookie Champion. All Rookies will start off in the ring at the same time … when the bell rings they fight for survival as they try to stop themselves from being tossed over the top rope to the outside floor. The last man, or woman, standing will be crowned the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion and go down in BWP and British Wrestling history.

There will also be tag team action as Danny Sensation & The Bouncer team up to take on the uncontrollable force of ‘Rapid Fire’ Tommy Gunn & his partner, making his debut in the BWP ‘The Red Saint’. This masked superstar is a must see attraction for any show – teamed with the fan favorite Tommy Gunn, this is set to be a smash of match!

In the battle of the giants – Brit-Flick Star Sabotage takes on the Irish Whip Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Mandrake. These two ring colossal’s will collide in a match of strength, power and endurance. Which giant will stand tall? Its a close one!

Hot of the tail of last months Denbigh show, Lord Graham Thomas will face off against the man who cost him the BWP World Catchweight Championship, the Babyfaced Pitbull. Having just ‘won’ the championship from Jim ‘The Metal’ King, with a little help from his bodyguard Shaun ‘The Hammer’ Davis and crooked BWP General Manager Sebastian D. Winterz, Pitbull attacked ‘The Hammer’ and distracted LGT long enough for D Mac to cash in his Sure Shot Challenge Contract and get a quick 3 count on his Lordship!

Thomas is still furious over going down in history as boasting the shortest reign as BWP Champion in history! Now, he wants revenge – Lord Graham Thomas v Babyfaced Pitbull has been made a No1 Contenders match by GM Sebastian D. Winterz, so with a target to hit as well as revenge in mind who knows what will happen in this very personal rivalry?

The BWP General Manager will also address his actions last month against his ‘best friend’ Jim ‘Metal’ King. As Special Guest Referee last month in the LGT/King Championship match, Winterz betrayed his friend and cost him his title. Jim King wants answers … Sebastian D. Winterz says he will give them – and more!

The General Manager has been very ‘giving’ since last months Denbigh show, this was shown when he granted a BWP World Catchweight Championship match to ‘The Lethal’ DCB. DCB last month was carried out of the Denbigh Death Match against DJ King following a ‘draw’ ending. Both men took the other to the limit and beyond as they literally knocked each other out following a 30+ minute brutal battle. Sebastian D. Winterz has recognised DCB’s efforts by awarding him this chance to reclaim the BWP title.

Newly crowned BWP Champion D Mac will defend his title for the first time against an ex-champion, who seems to have the GM in his pocket. DCB is known for siding with power in order to gain the advantage and it has paid off in the past, but the popular D Mac has shown that he thrives on pressure and sets to defy all odd’s.

Who will be the first ever BWP Rookie Division Champion come 13th November? Will we have a MMA fighting No1 Contender, or a Regal No1 Contender? Will D Mac defy the odd’s once again to overcome the tactics of DCB?

All of this and a whole lot more at Denbigh Town Hall Brawl 2 – Live Saturday 13th November 2010 at Denbigh Town Hall, North Wales
