Match 1
Marcus King (with Rudy Wynne) v Corey E
The debuting Corey E had his work cut out against the experience ring master that is Marcus King, however the newcomer proved that he was not willing to be looked down upon by the Word Association member.
The match was energetic, fast paced and technically sound from start to finish, despite the time wasting efforts of King, and the presence of Rudy Wynne at ringside … Corey proved his worth and brought his A game to the table. Nobody expects the newcomer to walk away with victory on their debuting match, but on this occasion, everybody was wrong! Corey E was able to pick up a clean and straight win over Marcus King after both men battled for over 15 minutes in back and forth action, and although King managed to hit several big moves on the new boy, they were not enough as Corey fought back and pinned Marcus 1.2.3. following a frogsplash from the top rope – much to the fans delight.
Winner of this match – Corey E!
Match 2
The New TranSiberien Express v Zack Diamond & El Destello
This match was scheduled to be The New TranSiberien Express v The Justice Cirlce, however as the J.C. were introduced to the ring, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne’s music blared through the loudspeakers … Rudy, followed by BWP Champion El Destello entered the ring together to inform the crowd that he was granting The Justice Circle the evening off in order to give El Destello and his scheduled opponent, Zack Diamond a warm up match prior to their ‘Denbigh Street Fight’ match later on in the evening – but as always with Rudy Wynne, there was a twist – both El Destello & Zack Diamond would be forced to team together to take on the NTSE!
After Zack Diamond entered the ring, clearly confused and not happy with Rudy’s decision – the match took place with Zack starting off against the Night Stalker. El Destello seemed unconcerned throughout the whole match – avoiding tag attempts from his ‘partner’ when they were called for … even distracting the referee in order for Night Stalker and Springbok to double team on Diamond.
Diamond worked solo throughout the match, not by choice, but managed to fend off the Russian duo – as it looked like Zack Diamond was about to finish off Night Stalker with his trademark Diamond Frogsplash – El Destello decided to finally get involved in the match, by smashing his Kendo Stick over Diamonds back, causing him to tumble from the top rope. As Destello walked away from the ring, the NTSE finished off Zack Diamond with their own trademark Russian Roulette neckbreaker to pick up the win.
Rudy Wynne then entered the ring – addressing the grounded Zack Diamond – informing him that a ‘loser’ like him is not worthy of having a title shot, and that he is in no fit state to compete in a ‘Denbigh Street Fight’ later that night … and Rudy had two final words for Zack Diamond ‘Go Home!’.
Your Winners: The New TranSiberien Express
Match 3
Fatal 4Way No1 Contenders Match
The Iron Duke v Andy Baker v Babyface Pitbull v Jim ‘The Metal’ King
This match was never going to be pretty – as Iron Duke entered the ring, clearly intoxicated to the level that he could barely enter the ring on his own accord and Jim King at the clear size disadvantage – these 4 BWP Superstars battled for their chance to become No1 Contender for the BWP Championship!
All men worked against each other they also tried to align themselves with their opponents at different times in the match in order to gain the upper hand. The difficulty in a match like this is that whenever one man goes for a pin or submission attempt, there are two other men trying to break it up.
Fortunately for Jim King, who seemed to spend more time involved in the match than any of the other three Superstars, Andy Baker and Babyface Pitbull got into a brutal and personal battle that spilled to the outside of the ring, and ended up being broken up in the locker room by BWP officials – whilst this was happening, Jim King took advantage of The Iron Dukes state and got the pin for the win … and for the right to be named No1 Contender to the BWP World Catchweight Champion, that would be decided later on in the evening!
Your Winner: Jim ‘The Metal’ King
Match 4
Lord Graham Thomas’ Open Invitational Challenge
As Lord Graham Thomas and his manager, ‘The Word’ Wynne entered the ring to a mass chorus of boo’s and heckles from the Welsh crowd, LGT refused to speak and address the people of Denbigh, North Wales because of their insolence – therefore Rudy Wynne challenged any man in the BWP locker room to come out and receive a ‘royal beating’ courtesy of Lord Graham Thomas.
With the challenge issued, who would stand up and hopefully rise to the challenge? To the surprise of Lord Graham Thomas, Rudy Wynne and the entire BWP Nation – a returning Tommy Gunn headed to the ring! Rudy Wynne informed Tommy Gunn that although he has promise and he has talent – he does not have a BWP Contract therefore is unable to take up LGT’s challenge. After much heckling from the crowd, Rudy told Gunn that he would allow him to fight for his future, and fight for his contract … if Gunn wins, Rudy would reinstate the fan favourite, if he loses, then there would be no more chances and Tommy Gunn was gone forever!
With that said, Tommy Gunn accepted, to the delight and excitement of the BWP fans, and told Lord Graham Thomas that he hoped he had brought his A game … because Tommy Gunn was going to come out ‘All Guns Blazing!’.
The fans never stopped shouting, screaming and chanting for Tommy Gunn for the 20 minutes that this match lasted – Tommy impressed the BWP Nation with his arsenal of high flying and high impact moves – but he was up against one of the dirtiest, and cleverest players in the game … LGT may be considered a pompous, arrogant and nasty S.O.B. – but there is no denying that he is one of the most talented individuals in the BWP locker room. The match was back and forth, one moment Tommy had LGT down, only for LGT to come back with some powerhouse move that downed the fan favourite Tommy Gunn … the match was a constant struggle for both men, as LGT did not want to lose in his own annual Invitational Challenge, and Tommy Gunn desperately wanted back in with the BWP!
In the end, although it appeared both men had the match won on several occasions, it was Tommy Gunn that managed to get the upper hand over LGT with a series moves including the 616 and a big splash from the top rope – but there is no denying that although LGT entered the ring to a chorus of disapproving chants and name calling … he left as the loser, but a loser that maybe, just maybe, grabbed the Denbigh residents attention!
Your Winner, and now official a member of the BWP Roster once again: Tommy Gunn
Match 5
Denbigh Street Fight
Seeing as El Destello and Rudy Wynne plotted the demise of Zack Diamond earlier in the night – El Destello was opponentless for the highly anticipated ‘Denbigh Street Fight’ for his BWP World Catchweight Championship! Rudy Wynne invited any man who actually does hold a BWP Contract, to come and challenge the ‘unbeatable’ El Destello!
It didn’t take long for the fans to be standing and cheering as the familiar sounds of The G-Mans entrance music belted out in Denbigh Town Hall! As the Prince of Pink danced his way to the ring, parading for the BWP Nation – El Destello and Rudy Wynne looked somewhat unhappy with the guy that stepped up to their challenge first.
El Destello made it clear that he was not going to fight The G-Man – having faced him before in this kind of match in the past. Rudy asked The G-Man what the hell he thought he was doing there … this prompted G-Man to tell Rudy exactly what he thought of him, of El Destello and of their antics in the past and earlier on in the evening, dropping the Justice Circle from their scheduled match against The New TranSiberien Express in order to screw over Zack Diamond. G-Man also addressed Rudy’s statement that El Destello was ‘unbeatable’ … G-Man explained that since BWP opened its doors back in 2008, El Destello had been only beaten once in all that time, but the person to beat him on that one occasion was in fact THE G-MAN!! El Destello took exception to this comment, and as The Lethal Luchador and the Prince of Pink stood face to face – Rudy Wynne separated them both and said that he was willing to give The G-Man the chance he wanted, however there would be a stipulation. Wynne stated that should G-Man win, he would be crowned the new BWP Champion – but – if he lost, he would have to voluntarily retire from the BWP and professional wrestling all together!
Given the stipulation presented, G-Man did not hesitate to accept, informing Rudy and Destello that he did not intend on losing!
G-Man didn’t wait for the bell, he launched himself at the champ beating his opponent with his pink feather boa – that was then showed to have a solid steel chain wrapped in it! Back and forth, El Destello and G-Man literally tore chunks from each other – battering each other with the steel chain, slamming, suplexing, back dropping each other to solid wooden venue floor … bashing each others heads and bodies into the walls and steel ring posts – El Destello even sabotaged the refreshment bar by taking a couple of metal trays and smashing them into the face and body of The G-Man … followed by a lethal DDT onto the tray.
The match went on for a gruelling 20+ minutes … until G-Man managed to beat down El Destello with his signatures manoeuvres including his patented G-Spot move … as G-Man went for the pin to win his first ever BWP title – Rudy Wynne struck him across his back with Destellos Kendo Stick – although this did not down the BWP Nations favourite Superstar, it did grab his attention as he collared the BWPs General Manager in the corner, as he was about to give Rudy what he has deserved for several months, El Destello claimed the Kendo Stick and smashed it in half over The G-Mans head … and dropped onto the body of G-Man as referee Phil Race hit a suspiciously fast 3 count!
The winner of the match – and still BWP World Catchweight Champion, El Destello! Although El Destello did not look like a winner nor a champion at the end of the match, as he struggled to get to his feet for several minutes and skipped his usual celebratory march as he limped and struggled backstage with his precious belt in hand.
The G-Man however, was still out of it in the ring … and a cocky and gleeful Rudy Wynne strutted around the ring with his trademark smirk on his face as he informed The G-Man that he is no longer a BWP Superstar … and is no longer a wrestler at all, because The G-Man is now, without choice, RETIRED! However, in an act of Rudy Wynne ‘kindness’ … he stated that he and G-Man were in fact old friends, and therefore he would allow his old friend to say goodbye in the manner he would like the most, by competing in one last match … the BWP 25 Man Rural Rumble match … but as always, there was a sick twist, the Rumble started NOW and G-Man was entrant number 1! Rudy then called for the 2nd Rumble entrant to make his way to the ring.
Main Event
BWP Rural Rumble
With G-Man still on the matt – the No2 entrant was none other than The Iron Duke … who took no time in pounding The G-Man and trying to eliminate him Immediately. It seemed that G-Man was no ready to be ousted for the second time in one night, as he clung to the ropes long enough for the No3 entrant, Demoni, to enter the ring and help the Prince of Pink out by distracting The Iron Duke away from him.
El Destello entered the rumble and immediately targeted The G-Man – after numerous lethal kicks and blows from Destello, he tried his best to eliminate a defiant G-Man – who again wrapped his body in the ropes in order to not be thrown out of his final match of his career … at this point overall victory was obviously not G-Mans objective, just to be able to sustain the enslaught of the Lethal Luchador as much as he could and not allow the mad Mexican to get the better of him twice in one night … fortunately for G-Man, El Destello was pounced upon by several other members of the rumble, allowing G-Man enough time to bring himself from the up-side-down position hanging for his life, to be able to crawel, exhausted, back into the ring.
Demoni eliminated his own partner Element.
Andy Baker eliminated Iron Duke
G-Man eliminated Celtic Thunder
Pitbull made an immediate impact as he eliminated Corey E
A debuting Festa eliminated Marcus King
Motivator & D Mac eliminated Festa with the help of BFPB
D Mac eliminated by Springbok
After eliminating James Priest from the rumble, Jim ‘The Metal’ King targeted himself on El Destello and launched him over the tope rope to the venue floor with what seemed to be great ease in order to eliminate his opponent for next month – the BWP Champion El Destello – to the venue floor! As Destello showed his disappointment and anguish over his demise from the rumble, Jim King remained in the rumble until the end – as the final 3 men – Jim, Babyface Pitbull and a resilient G-Man battled each other to become the rumble winner. But not before Rudy Wynne made his presence known by publically announcing that the man to eliminate the G-Man would receive a £5000 cash bounty! This prompted all remaining rumble participants to pounce on the G-Man – maybe he would not have lasted as long if it wasn’t for the greed of the other rumble members, who ended up fighting amongst themselves to grab that£5000 chance.
The final three survivors were G-Man, Babyface Pitbull and Jim King – the end result was all three men hanging on for their lives clutching to the ropes – however an upside down G-Man was able to punch, kick and scratch both Jim King and BFPB to make them let go of the ropes and drop to the venue floor … the winner of the Rumble, from No1 place – THE G-MAN SIMON GAYTLEY!!!
The G-Man was then AGAIN interrupted by a gloating Rudy Wynne who reminded G-Man not to celebrate too much, as he no longer had a career in professional wrestling! G-Mans response was a long overdue stiff right hand to Rudy – knocking the General Manager out and onto his backside!
G-Man celebrated and said goodbye to the BWP Nation who were all experiencing mixed emotions!
