SEBWINTERZ
Hells Bells (HB) says
: Okay I’m here with the first ever BWP Champion, Sebastian D Winterz

Sebastian Winterz (SW) says: Indeed you are, you lucky devil

HB says: Haha Seb – of course it is an honour to interview you.

Now you have just been voted wrestler of the year and the first question I would like to ask about that is

Q1       How do you feel about winning your award?

SW says: Obviously it feels great and I appreciate all the fan support and every single person who voted for me, but it’s no consolation for the fact that I won’t start 2010 as the BWP Champion.

HB says: Yes I can see how that would be difficult to accept but still the fans did vote for you which leads to question two

Q2       Why do you think the fans voted for you?

SW says: I think I have a good rapport with my fans, obviously they have enjoyed my antics throughout the year and also they have marvelled in my almost year long undefeated streak.

HB says: That is an impressive record for sure and must have endeared the fans to you. Thinking about your colleagues now

Q3       If you had been presenting this award, who would you have given it to and why?

SW says: There is no doubt I would have given it to Jim King, he has tantalized audiences over the UK this year with his technique, speed and skill.

HB says: Very deserving and of course he is part of the Justice Circle with you and G-Man.

Now just for fun here is question four

Q4       If you could have won any award, real or imaginary, what award would you have liked to win?

SW says: I would like to be in the Pro Wrestler Illustrated top 500

HB says: So what you are saying is that you would like to have won your right to be in the PWI – not exactly an award as such but an accolade worthy of the first BWP Champion, well never say never Seb and thanks for answering the questions. The only other thing left to say is “Good Luck” in 2010.

SW says: Thank you

ith the first ever BWP champion, Sebastian D Winterz

BWP Award Winner: Marcus King

marcusking
Hells Bells (HB) says
: Well Marcus was as elusive as ever and declined to be interviewed in person. I eventually persuaded him through a third party to answer the set 4 questions that have been asked to all of the fan voted award winners.
Q1       How do you feel about winning your award?

Marcus King (MK) Says: How do I feel, how would you feel winning a tainted “award”?

Having my puppet of a brother who only won his award because he pandered to the “fans” because he greased his way up the backstage political ladder just to make a name for himself, yet he didn’t care who he stepped on….his own flesh and blood, his own brother!!

WHAT ABOUT ME? WHAT ABOUT MARCUS?
Because let’s face it the so called awards are a sham and so are all of you.

HB says: Q2       Why do you think the fans voted for you?

MK Says: For me, they didn’t vote for me they voted for the “face” the “pretty boy” little Jimmy King. They ignored my technical prowess, my pure wrestling talent and voted for the attention grabbing showboat.
So that’s why we HE won this piece of crap award. Not me.

HB says: Q3       If you had been presenting this award, who would you have given it to and why?

MK says: Lets face facts, I would never present any type of phony “award” and therefore I would present this to Sebastian Winters and Simon Gaytley because they are the biggest puppets of all. (Jimmy excluded of course)

HB says: Q4       If you could have won any award, real or imaginary, what award would you have liked to win?

MK says: I don’t need nor want an award. Real or imaginary? Who do you think I am? Some child wrestling in his own backyard federation, some kind of egomaniac desperately seeking approval. If that is the case then think what you will, I couldn’t care less.

BWP Award Winner: Jim ‘The Metal’ King

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

jimking
Hells Belles (HB) says: So here I am with Jim ‘The Metal’ King and I have 4 questions to ask him about winning the tag team award and rookie award,
Q1 How do you feel about winning your awards?

Jim King (JK) says: Very good! I was pleased the crowd chose me to be rookie of the year, it’s definitely one of the highest, if not, the highest point of my career thus far. As for winning the tag team of the year, if this was a few months ago I would have been just as pleased..I’m sure the BWP nation knows why I’m not as proud as I should be over that one. All in all I thank them for voting me.

HB says: That’s great and leads nicely to the second question
Q2 Why do you think the fans voted for you?

JK says: The modest answer would be for me to say that for the most part, the candidates were either lesser known to the BWP crowd or douchbags..to put it bluntly. But I like to think that they voted me because I’m something new, fresh and exciting. I just hope they’ll keep supporting me and my quest for justice for the ongoing months to come.

HB says: I hope they will as well Metal and thinking about your colleagues leads to question three.
Q3 If you had been presenting this award, who would you have given it to and why?
Of course you can answer for both awards

JK says: Hmm, that’s a tough one..but I think I’m gonna go with Zack Diamond, although not as known to the BWP crowd, we’ve met before and had a lot of fun in the past. I know what he’s capable of and I wouldn’t have been surprised if he took the award this year. The tag-team, I’m not so sure. They’ve only just begun sprouting up here and there now. The only other choice would be the Transiberian Express.

HB says: That’s a good choice for rookie but as you say it is harder to choose an alternative tag team. Now just for fun comes the final question in this short interview.
Q4 If you could have won any award, real or imaginary, what award would you have liked to win?

JK says
: The award for the sweetest revenge which I WILL have, I haven’t beaten my brother yet.. but it’s only a matter of time. Only then can I start to move on from this all. Whether it be the upcoming show in January, or the next show, the one after that, or the one after that, I’m going to beat Marcus, I’m going to move on..and me, Sebastian Winters and the G-man will bring justice to the Word Association

HB says
: An interesting award there Jim and only time will tell if you see your wish fulfilled. Well thank-you for answering the questions and congratulations again on winning your well deserved awards.

Justice is Served

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

The Justice Circle members stole the show at the BWP Awards Bash 09 on Saturday 12 December 2009.

With all members winning awards – but not just any awards, the most prestigious of the 8 awards … plus an added bonus for the former champion, Seb Winterz.

Seb Winterz picked up the main prize of Wrestler of the Year – and gave a heart felt acceptance speach that left the BWP Nation in both tears and laughter. He was also presented with an acknowledgement of his reign as the first ever BWP World Catchweight Champion, a crown he is determined to regain in 2010 from the bandit that stole his crown as champion, El Destello.

Jim ‘The Metal’ King walked away as the co-winner of the Tag Team of the Year along with his older brother, Marcus King from the days that the unbeatable duo of SuperNaturals reigned the tag team divisions. As well as that, The Metal scooped the Rookie of the Year award, an acknowledgement of his services to wrestling industry in his short time in the business.

And of course The G Man stole the show, winning the Sexy in Spandex and Best Entrance awards – highlighting his ability to wow the crowds both in and out of the ring, and not just in the form of wrestling talent and entertainment, but also in his attire!

G-Man also picked up the Match of the Year award for his efforts against arch-nemesis El Destello – a long running feaud that has highlighted many shows within 2009.

So with the newly formed Justice Circle being crowned 6 times out of 8, with Sebs acknowledgement thrown in for good measure, it appears that the BWP have something to look forward in 2010 and namely The Word Association have something to worry about in 2010.

Justice certainly was served at the BWP Awards Bash, but something tells me that the J.C. want a little more justice over the Word Association members in the new year!

The Winning Association

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

At the BWP Awards Bash 09 The Word Association members walked away with at least one award each.

Even the BWP General Manager, and Word Association leader, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne walked away with a Management decided award of ‘Most Improved Talent of the Year’, and award that Rudy Wynne obnoxiously walked away with and an award that you can guarantee that BWP Founder Steve Saxon was not pleased with.

Lord Graham Thomas, or namely his alter-ego Lady Grace Thomas, walked away with Diva of the Year thanks to his match with The G Man last July in Wrexham, North Wales that resulted in his Lordship being forced to wear a dress … that apparently he took a liking to! Where most BWP Superstars would take exception to being forced to wear a womans dress, LGT has taken it upon himself to prove not only is he a dominant force within the male ranks, but also the female ranks!

Marcus King walked away with the Tag Team of the Year award – along with his ex-tag team partner, and brother, Jim ‘The Metal’ King. Although apprehensive about accepting a combined award with his younger sibling, Marcus accepted none-the-less and of course, in normal Marcus-manner, took full credit for the brotherly team of SuperNatuals winning the award!

And of course El Destello, although not present at the Awards Bash, had his long time manager McGrou accept his awards on his behalf for both Villain of the Year and for Match of the Year against his arch-nemesis, The G Man!

The Word Association certaintly proved a winning formulation on Saturday 12 Decemeber, not that this group of over sized egos needed any more encourangement.

I am sure that they will make their accomplishments known throughout 2010 – but will they be enough to win over the anti-Word Association crowds? And more importantly, will their awards be enough to build their joint-confidence enough to overcome the even more successful Justice Circle?

BWP Superstar Interview – El Destello

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Newly appointed as a member of the BWP Management Team – HelenS conducts her first professional interview with the newly appointed BWP World Catchweight Champion, The Lethal Luchador, El Destello!

—-

HelenS:
Good evening El Destello and thank-you for agreeing to this interview.

El Destello:
(no reply)

HelenS:
Very little is known about the mysterious El Destello, please can you let the fans know how you first became a wrestler

El Destello:
I was first trained in Mexico, by the legendary El Bandito, a great warrior of the ring that dominated not only the Mexican circuit during the 60’s/70’s and 80’s but also here in your ‘Great Britain’
Bandito was a hard man. He would beat the **** out of his Chavora (boys) in order to teach them the true meaning of the business, and to ensure that his Chavora, just like himself, were the greatest they could be and would represent him as best as they could.

HelenS:
He sounds like a tough teacher. Do you think that is why you adopt such a brutal style in the ring?

El Destello:
Lets get one thing straight Gringo, El Destello is brutal because that is just who I am! Bandito taught me to be ruthless in order to win … I win now because of his training, but more importantly, because there is nobody better than me.

HelenS:
First of all El Destello, I am not the foreigner here, you are, so I think we can have less of the name calling, thank-you.
As you say you are ruthless and anyone can see that you are an excellent wrestler, so why do you resort to using the Singapore Cane?

El Destello:
To be honest woman, it’s needed … I can out wrestle any man or woman! But why waste my time and energy proving to these idiots that I am the better wrestler when I can finish them off quicker with my old friend? Bottom line is that El Destello is in the ‘Great Britain’ as a favour to Rudy Wynne, I left this place months ago to return to my homeland. Rudy begged me to return, the deal was I get revenge on G-Man and I will be champion. Why waste time playing with your British fools when I can achieve the same result with the help of the cane?
I have paid my dues in Mexico. Mexico is the greater country therefore I have nothing to prove on this little island.

HelenS:
You obviously have no respect for the British people but what do really think of the BWP’s General Manager Rudy Wynne?

El Destello:
Really? Rudy Wynne should come back home to Mexico with me, there, together, we could make a killing. Rudy is too good for the BWP, he is too good for British wrestling! I left the BWP the show before he was made General Manager by Steve Saxon. Since then I watch BWP on YouTube … and I see how the shows are better because of his ruling and power.
I hear on the forum, the British moaners complaining about how Seb Winterz, Jimmy King and that **** G-Man have been ripped off and held down since Rudy Wynne has been Manager. This is not true. Rudy has pushed the true fighters, the true gladiators to the top and kept the scum like ‘The Justice Circle’ where they belong, at rock bottom.

HelenS:
It is easy to respect a manager who favours you over others but can you see that coming at his beck and call just makes you appear to be Rudy’s glorified pet?
A vicious pet admittedly but still a pet

El Destello:
Hey, woman! I am no pet. Rudy needs El Destello more than El Destello needs him! Let that be said now.

HelenS:
Now that is an interesting comment and one that I hope to address to Rudy at some point. As you consider yourself to be so superior to the other wrestlers, why have you joined the Word Association rather than staying an individual in your own right?

El Destello:
You ask dumb questions, but this ok, El Destello understands British ways of thinking, or lack of, so I will humour you. You may speak with the great Rudy Wynne, he will tell you same, El Destello is needed in the BWP, to inject some power and respect into British wrestling. As no British man can do that.
And why did I commit to the Word Association? Simples, because Lord Graham and Marcus are like minded warriors. Look at The Lord, he fights with disrespectful fans and spits in children’s faces. He is no scared of anybody. Marcus put his little brother in his place to secure his own future, everybody knows that Jimmy King is the weak link in that family – so I stand with these guys, to show that you have to be cruel to be kind.

HelenS:
You do seem to be a little confused there El Destello as you say that no British man can inject power and respect into British Wrestling but then say that LGT and Marcus are like minded warriors and they of course are British but as you are Mexican I will accept that it is probably your poor understanding of English that led to this miscommunication.
So as you have such a poor opinion of the Justice Circle and the rest of the BWP roster who would you like to face next in the ring?

El Destello:
LGT and Marcus are like minded warriors yes … they are not however GREAT warriors like myself … they just have the same mental mind as me, they just do not, yet, have the in ring skills and brutality as me – I will teach them as I was taught, not as their British trainers teach them.
El Destello will face whoever wants to be my next victim.
Seb Winterz makes it clear he wants a rematch. At this time, I cannot say if he will get it at the next BWP show. This is up to Rudy Wynne … but make it clear, Winterz, girly boy G-Man or anyone else, you walk onto Destello’s canvas, you leave in a ambulance.

HelenS:
That is a serious challenge and one that I am sure Seb Winterz and G-Man would be more than happy to take up and prove you wrong.
The BWP roster has increased considerably since Rudy Wynne became Manager. Of the new additions to the roster who do you think has potential?

El Destello:
That is because Rudy Wynne makes an impact – has done what Steve Saxon could not. He has built and improved the roster, and if plans work as we want, the roster will get a little smaller soon, but for the good!
And the new additions to the BWP – they don’t matter to me … they have long journey to prove themselves at challenging for the gold … for now, those men that are in line for a shot at my title belt, I will deal with them, the next in line – I deal with them when I get to them … new or old, it does not matter to El Destello, because I beat any man, woman, child and pet!

HelenS:
As you have mentioned women during this interview perhaps I could ask you whether the rumours in the Locker Room are true? Do you have a new love in your life?

El Destello:
El Destello cannot love anything other than himself and hurting people.

HelenS:
Okay, that sort of dispels the rumour and of course your inability to love is hardly surprising. So moving on in the tradition started by The Word, I’d like you to give one word association answers to the following :-

Word Assocation?
El Destello: Perfection

HelenS: LGT

El Destello: Gentleman

HelenS: G-Man

El Destello: Over-rated

HelenS: BWP

El Destello: El Destello

HelenS: Being the Champion

El Destello: Destiny

HelenS: McGrou

El Destello: Returning??

HelenS: Your Singapore Cane

El Destello: Friend

HelenS: Most hated person

El Destello: G Man
No I cannot answer this in one word. G-Man is a disgusting person … he drags my industry to the bottom of the sewers … he is in this business not for competition or pride, but for his own personal desires … he should not be in a professional ring, he should be working in some seedy bar in SoHo or Amsterdam … he disgusts and revolts the champ!

HelenS: Technically not a one word answer but I’ll ignore your slip and continue
As a final trivia question, the fans and members of the BWP roster often describe you in many ways but which is your favourite nickname from the forum?

El Destello: The Champ … any other name, comment or suggestion simply does not matter … I am your champion, their champion and the World’s only Catchweight Champion!

Now woman, El Destello has an engagement with the hotel bar, I have granted you enough of my time … go and pester somebody else

– El Destello leaves the room –

HelenS:
Well I would say thank-you for your time El Destello but as he left in such an ignorant manner, I will dispense with any civilities towards him and just say this has been HelenS interviewing El Destello.

Saxons Sure Shot Screwjob

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

screwjob
At BWP Cruel Intentions last month, Steve Saxon, Founder of Britannia Wrestling Promotions, set a special kind of match that would see the winner be awarded with an official contract that would allow him the chance to cash in his Sure Shot against the BWP World Catchweight Champion anytime within a 12 month period of winning the contract.

Saxon had previously added The G-Man to the match as his selection of Superstar, and had allowed BWP General Manager, ‘The Word’ Rudy Wynne, to choose G-Mans opponent.

Wynne had kept his choice of Superstar to himself up until seconds before the bell. After getting in the face of The G-Man, and the wild Wrexham crowd, Rudy announced the return of The Lethal Luchador, El Destello! The look on G-Mans face clearly indicated that he wasn’t too pleased about Rudy’s choice of opponent, as Destello and G-Man have battled each other time and time again. Knowing the sick and twisted style of The Lethal Luchador, G-Man was thrown even further off his game, as Rudy announced that the match would be a No Holds Barred match!

rudy

This added last minute stipulation to the match had clearly been predetermined by The Word and El Destello, as Destello came to the ring clutching a steel chain and his ever-present Singapore Cane!

Although The G-Man did his utmost to ensure victory, not just for himself, but for BWP Founder Steve Saxon, El Destello eventually gained the victory by knock-out as rehttp://www.britanniawrestling.co.uk/blogs/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=411&message=1feree Tom Ball stopped the match after Destello locked G-Man in a full nelson, as his fellow Word Association member, Marcus King wrapped G-Mans legs in the ropes, and was ordered by The Word to then crack the singapore cane across the already unconcious G-Man!

El Destello was then presented the briefcase that held his Sure Shot contract by a smirking and overjoyed Rudy Wynne, and then all Word Association members, including Lord Graham Thomas who made his way quickly to the ring after the match had concluded, and attacked a battered G-Man further. The damage caused to G-Man could and would have been a lot worse if it hadn’t have been for BWP Champion Seb Winterz making the save and chasing of the W.A. members as he stood over his long time friend who was lay flat out on the canvas.
