The Justice Circle members stole the show at the BWP Awards Bash 09 on Saturday 12 December 2009.
With all members winning awards – but not just any awards, the most prestigious of the 8 awards … plus an added bonus for the former champion, Seb Winterz.
Seb Winterz picked up the main prize of Wrestler of the Year – and gave a heart felt acceptance speach that left the BWP Nation in both tears and laughter. He was also presented with an acknowledgement of his reign as the first ever BWP World Catchweight Champion, a crown he is determined to regain in 2010 from the bandit that stole his crown as champion, El Destello.
Jim ‘The Metal’ King walked away as the co-winner of the Tag Team of the Year along with his older brother, Marcus King from the days that the unbeatable duo of SuperNaturals reigned the tag team divisions. As well as that, The Metal scooped the Rookie of the Year award, an acknowledgement of his services to wrestling industry in his short time in the business.
And of course The G Man stole the show, winning the Sexy in Spandex and Best Entrance awards – highlighting his ability to wow the crowds both in and out of the ring, and not just in the form of wrestling talent and entertainment, but also in his attire!
G-Man also picked up the Match of the Year award for his efforts against arch-nemesis El Destello – a long running feaud that has highlighted many shows within 2009.
So with the newly formed Justice Circle being crowned 6 times out of 8, with Sebs acknowledgement thrown in for good measure, it appears that the BWP have something to look forward in 2010 and namely The Word Association have something to worry about in 2010.
Justice certainly was served at the BWP Awards Bash, but something tells me that the J.C. want a little more justice over the Word Association members in the new year!
