At the BWP Cruel Intentions show on 7th November, BWP General Manager Rudy ‘The Word’ Wynne certainly lived up to his word, as his Word Association members reigned supreme throughout the evening.
With the return of the Lethal Luchador El Destello as Rudy’s representitive in the first ever Saxons Sure Shot challenge against The G-Man, Rudy had banked him a winner as these two long time enemies thrashed each other within an inch of their lives to grasp the contract for a title shot – Rudy’s added last minute stipulation that the match would be a No Holds Barred match was clearly set-up in the favour of the returning Mexican, as he strutted to the ring with his Singapore cane in one hand a steel chain in the other. This match resulted in senior referee Tom Ball stopping the match as Destello and fellow W.A. member Marcus King beat G-Man to an unconcious state, this enslaught would and could have been fatal if it was not for the BWP World Catchweight Champion Seb Winterz making the save for his friend, The G-Man.
Earlier in the evening was the highly anticipated match between the King Brothers, as Jim ‘The Metal’ King tried to overcome his older brother, turncoat Marcus King, who was accompanied by a distracting Rudy Wynne. This back and forth match resulted in Marcus having his hand raised in victory, much to the delight of a beaming Rudy Wynne.
The third member of Word Association, Lord Graham Thomas, challenged Seb Winterz for his title – not once, but twice in one night. After Seb finished off LGT for the 3 count, ‘The Word’ sneakily placed LGT’s left foot onto the bottom rope, as Seb was leaving the ring to the roar of the Seb-friendly crowd, Rudy ordered him back to the ring and that the match was to be re-started – a disgruntled Winterz reluctantly returned to the ring to be attacked by LGT, however even a rear attack and a second chance was not enough for the blue blood to capture gold, as Seb Winterz beat him for a second time, this time ensuring that Rudy was not able to put any part of LGT’s body on the rope!
Although LGT did not capture the gold, El Destello saw the window of opportunity wide open as a tired, battered and tired Seb Winterz confronted Rudy Wynne, Destello attacked him from behind with his Singapore cane, unleashing shot after shot to the champs body. Once Seb was down and out, Destello slammed the Saxons Sure Shot Challenge case into the chest of referee Tom Ball as Rudy demanded Tom start the match – so for the third time within a matter of minutes, Seb Winterz was again defending his gold. As soon as Tom Ball called for the bell, Destello jumped onto Seb thinking that he already had the win in hand … however the big man kicked out to the delight, and suprise, of the BWP Nation.
Destello and Rudy were both in shock, allowing Seb a brief moment to turn things around in his favour, as he hit the manic Mexican with a big elbow drop setting him up for the Rock Bottom … however Destellos quick experience and quick feet quickly turned things back in his favour as he dodged Winterz finisher move and hit a brain-shattering enzuiguri on the champ.
As Seb refused to stay down, Rudy Wynne again interacted with the match and managed to distract the referee as Destello once again reached for the same cane that Seb had felt the wrath of just moments before … with the referees back turned, Destello cracked Winterz skull with the cane, knocking the big man out and allowing Destello to get the 3 count.
As Destello and Rudy celebrated in the ring, LGT and Marcus King entered the ring and all 4 Word Association members contiued the brutal attack on Seb Winterz to a chorus of boo’s and hisses from the angry Wrexham crowd – until the former champ was saved by his two friends, The G-Man and Jim ‘The Metal’ King who chased of the eveil Word Association members.
As Seb was carried backstage to receive medical attention, a furious G-Man and Jim King remained in the ring and announced to the red hot crowd that they were sick and tired of Rudy Wynne and his new found allies and that Seb Winterz, The G-Man and Jim King were not accepting there dirty antics no more … and if Rudy wants to play the game of gang warfare – then a war is what they will get as the 3 fan favourites will be known as The Justice Circle – and that they will not settle nor be beaten, until justice is served in the BWP.
Although The Justice Circle may have declared war against The Word Association, there is no denying that Rudy Wynne and his Association members certainly won the battle at Cruel Intentions.
